  1. Where are the ones for the Rebel?
  2. The same holds true for all the Michael's in San Diego, CA The only new kits are the Starsky and Hutch Torino and the F&F Charger. Everything else is a few years old.
  3. Wow, that is pretty cool! That is a sharp build Need to get a me a few of those!
  4. Oh man! The Duck!! That has become one of my Grail pieces and I am on the hunt. Great score!
  5. I think a combination of Bronze and Gold would be pretty close.
  6. Don't know if this was posted before, but if not, here it is http://barnfinds.com/150-classic-cars-destroyed-fire/ https://thetelegraph.com/news/106861/fire-destroys-country-classic-cars-dozens-of-antique-vehicles-in-staunton
  7. That sounds like a challenge .
  8. Did he secretly build a Jungle Jim car and not tell us? Dude!
  9. Yeah, some folks just like using the letters on the decals sheets. I have seen AA/FA on a door slammer. Yup, kinda off a bit.
  10. I just don't throw money up into the air, but I do take care of my bills and save money. And when there is something I wan't, I buy it. If you are on a budget, get what you can, when you can. But to try and keep tabs on how much I am spending on a build is a bit much. And to keep track of how much I spend on my hobby would make me nuts I am single and do not hold the title of accountant. Some of you take this way to seriously
  11. I have a couple of those wedge kits and my plan is to convert them to a single wheel opening
  12. If you need to count how much you spend to enjoy a hobby, then maybe it is not the hobby for you.
  13. I buy with the intention to build. Some I have bought out of sheer nostalgia and will not build them because I bought them for a memory and not for how good the kit was! Such as Palmer and Hawk kits. Some are pretty rare and I only got them because they just came across my path. Will I build them? Probably not, they are not really my thing or there is a newer and better version of it out now. I just bought them for what they are.
  14. The Honcho looks like it was done up as an Homage to the Original Ice Patrol
  15. Nice! Will be talking to you soon!
  16. Well, it is lacquered wood, so I guess it would be whatever your favorite wood paint is.
  17. Yeah, that would require pretty much a whole new tool
  18. Glad to see the Honcho with the Snowmobile and the Humbug. And yes, it is the High Roller
  19. Door panels are not a deal killer for building race cars. Just paint it black and watch it disappear.
  20. I would guess Don Long. He built his Front Engine cars and I think the funny cars as well. I know Romeo Palamides did the Jet car for him
  21. From the looks of it, and I should have taken a pic of it, they are roughly the same length and almost the same shape.
