Fujimi doesn does look pretty beefy as is, but, it could always be bulked up some more. When Gulf started sponsorship of these cars, the rear wheels started getting wider when the engines made more power. Apparently up to 14" wide wheels! So yes, there did make some wide tail cars.

That is crazy! Looks like the tooling may have ended up in China or possibly done under license. Can't wait for their '29 and '30 Fords! LOL!

I can understand them trying to squeeze more out of tooling that is already bought and paid for and make another buck out of them. But if they are going to continue to target us with them, they should start tooling up more proper parts for these kits or make the new parts are bit more accurate. These kits are not really aimed at today's young builders, they are aimed at us, the old guys. And we are now a bit more picky about what we build and how much it cost. We knew what the kit was to begin with and we knew they where making new parts for it and accepted that. But they didn't bother making sure it was a bit more accurate proportion wise. We bought it, we looked at it, we are not exactly pleased with it and some of us will build it, and some of us will chuck it to the shelf of shame. Done

Some cars also use it for fuel pump drive as well or external water pump.

Datsun and the Mack for sure! So, are they going to keep re-releasing Polar Lights Funny cars with the decals that have been available from Slixx for quite some time? Is this the new norm? I think it is time they tool up a new body for that chassis, like a Camaro, Nova or Ford Torino

Paul Mendoza once made some resin blocks to build such a beast. All you had to add where the parts off the Revell 392 and I might still have one in the stash. I will take a look I wasn't thinking too well this morning.

Are we assuming it is the Donovan Block based off the Chrysler 392?
