    A few years back they announced that they where going to re release them, but, stories started coming out about damaged and missing tooling. Then the whole thing just died. I think the Willys was the one that was not available.

    This little gem taught me never to try it again! Now I know it is an IMC kit, but back then it just turned me off to anything Testors!

    I think I have tried three times to build this, mostly when I was younger, and never quite got it right. So many little fragile parts and no patience makes for a terrible building experience for a kid! Might have to try it again now and see how it goes.

    I do remember that 510! A friend of mine sent me the link when he found it. It was a pretty cool build and glad it is going strong! Also, even though I am a Datsun guy, I must give props to the old school Toyota 18RG

    The L Series Nissan engines where quite flexible and many aftermarket and factory items where made for them. Like twin cam conversions.

    I do miss my Datsun L-18 with dual Mikuni carbs. That was a workhorse of an engine. This is the Paul Newman version

    I am biased toward Nissan, especially the SR series. Not much needed to make tons of power

    I have to agree with Chuck, let's wait to hear it from the Horses Mouth and not a story that pops up here and there. But for what it is worth, I think the molds are being used to build a Giant Robot that is going to be sent to Mars build factories there for Palmer. But I could be wrong.

    Picked up the Caddy re-issue since I never got one when they first came out. Got the F and F Charger with a 50% coupon at Michael's!

    I have not compared them yet, but, I think it shares almost everything but the body with the IMC Bug kit. I have both, but, I have yet to do a comparison.
