Who ever cut the mold just turned the slots from innies to outties. It has happened before with other kits, some have been corrected and some have been just left alone and forgotten. Somewhere down the line it got lost in translation by someone who most likely has never seen a real Corvette, but then again, they do have all kinds of American cars in China now. Is this massive enough for Revell to fix, most likely not to them. If they fix it, good for them. If they don't, well, just expect more in the future. Maybe they should start treating rotors like their tires and leave the markings off. Oh well, I still bought it and will build it. Done.

Ok, here it goes, ready? I don't care, I don't. Only some of us model builder types care, the rest of the world does not give a flying leap at a rolling doughnut about this. And thus, I don't care either. I will maybe fix it, then build it, and then it will sit and collect dust, most likely placed in the box and someone, someday, will throw it away with the rest of my junk. Yes, they sell them in the toy aisle, not the "Super Cool Model Builders" section. And just in case, I don't care.

Other than the Pro stuff, you are looking at all this in the proper light! It is a hobby and not profession, at least not for me, and I am not pro. I am model builder and I am going to enjoy building this and I hope you do as well!

I never said for you not to speak your mind or that you did not like the kit, obviously you don't, Read it again, You want to call it supporting Revell, fine, but don't make it sound like we are lemmings for buying it. Something so minor that can be corrected is fine with me. I have no fear of fixing a kit. Did they goof, yes, but is is worth calling them names for it? No. Lots of kit companies have made mistakes and fixed them, or not. I could see if the roof was caved in or the wheels where on top of the hood, but just because someone in a different country messed up on the drawings and someone did not catch it, I am not going to boycott if for something so small. It is not like am expecting Tamiya quality out of a $20 kit.

It is not supporting Revell, it is buying the stuff they make because that is what we want. Even with oversights like rotors that no one can really see, there is no one else making this kit. So stop this false worship style of postings. As usual, you don't like it, don't buy it, Feel free to talk about it all you want, but don't be surprised when someone snaps back, like me.

If you claim to be a Chef, but can not even boil water, then get ready to catch some flak. And if you buy that boiled water as soup, well, that is on you. I am pretty sure this guy knows what a Pro Build is compared to what he is claiming. I have not sympathy or pity for him when people are calling him on it.

The Beretta has Side draft carbs instead of all the plumbing with the four barrel. I sold my kit off a while ago, here is my chance to get it back!

Well, and I am just guessing, but it looks like T Tops and Landau tops where all the rage and MPC just went with the fad and styles of the time. Notice that the Superfly also gets the butcher treatment on its roof like the Monkee Mobile did. And our subject vehicle also has the T Top option as well.
