  1. Wow! Stunning job. I love these odd cutaway kits. I'm impressed Hugh.
  2. I've got a thing about '32 Fords. I want one of the above. That and the All-Stars '60 Thunderbird.
  3. As noted before, I brought Tim's latest book shortly after it came out. And also as before, I liked the book right away. I read the book right away, and have pulled out the book several times. Using for reference and enjoyment. As recently as just a couple of days ago. If you haven't bought one yet, your missing out on one best model car books ever offered. It's that good.
  4. I love his license plates. How good is his Rampside resin? Is it a complete kit? And how does it compare to kits by Modelhaus or Missing Link?
  5. As noted two years ago, it sad to see Carol and Don's business coming to an end. I have most of what I need from them (for now!). But there is still a lot of their stuff I'd still be interested in. But, since I have no real needs. I will not be fight the crowds and be disappointed that what I want, can no longer had. Or is sold out.
  6. There are several of us who like the Mustang "notchback" coupes/hardtops. And as noted in Greg's first posting here, Ford sold many more regular hardtops that first year than fastbacks. In fact, the hardtop was generally the best seller most years back in those early years. Despite having AMT's '66, I do wish Revell would make a hardtop companion to their '65 fastbacks and convertibles. Even if the hardtop is not as cool as the fastback or convertible, it's still cool. I want to see more.
  7. Thank Mr. Metallic for showing us what's in the box. Even though I built the Stevens International version a couple of years ago, and don't plan on building another one, I always enjoy seeing reviews showing the content of a kit.
  8. Nice Cyclone. I love Cyclones.
  9. Cool! I like it. I've got a Polar Lights Beetle I'm planing on trying the hydro dip paint technique. I hope mine works as well.
  10. Nice Chager.
  11. Thanks for showing us the content of the kit Goose 1957. A very good, and helpful review. Haven't 100% decided if I'll be adding this kit to my collection or not.
  12. Looks good.
  13. Very nice! I like it.
  14. Why is this in the "Under Glass" section? It would better in "General" or the review section.
  15. One. The one in Garlits' museum is the only one.
  16. I can not disagree with our two Canadian friends above. They have hit the nail on the head. Even if I'm not a big fan of it. It's probably time to move on. Yet.... Porsche seems to sell a lot of traditional designed 911s. And I don't know how well Corvette sales have been lately. In the near past, I do know Chevrolet had no troubles selling every one they could build. But, it's time to leave the past behind. Corvette needs to be a cutting edge sports car to keep its desirability into the future. I'm just not part of that future. But then again, I haven't been since 1973.
  17. Yea I do remember those "The wet head is dead" ads. ("Long live the dry look, by Gillette.") I'm just having fun over analyzing the ads. By the way..... the kid in the Notox ad. Notice his eyes? I think they had him sniffing regular model glue before shooting that picture. He's high as kite! That's why he forgot to put in his windshield (and yes Snake, I understand the real reason the glass is not there), and now is in process pouring Notox all over the front of his engine. With most of the glue falling through the model, on to his (new) bedroom carpet. Now his parents are going to forbid him from ever building plastic models ever again.
  18. I agree with Snake. "Very nice!"
  19. Very nice. Still one of my favorite dragster kits.
  20. Mine was molded in orange. And is the early Round 2 reissue.
