  1. This came from Model Roundup today. I'm happy and excited.
  2. Tim, in many cases your the man in the know. Have you heard anything that might give us a little hope of seeing either, or both, of the Chevy IIs from Moebius?
  3. Then your missing the point. This kit is not practical or even logical. It's just weird and fun.
  4. I got the kit at a local hobby store. Hub Hobby, in the St. Paul, MN suburb of Little Canada. At the time they had several copies. The clerk I purchased it from indicated that the kit was selling fairly well. That I wasn't the only fool willing to part with their money for this silly kit.
  5. By the way, how good is the X15 that comes with the B52?
  6. Both planes look pretty nice. Any more photos you can post? I'd love to see more.
  7. Looks good Michelle. I'm impressed with how your model building skills keep improving with each new kit you post.
  8. It looks pretty good Warren. It's like kool man.
  9. Have built both the motorized and non-motorized versions of the kit. Never have the problem your referring. Have had plenty of problems with the kits over the years. Just not that one.
  10. This maybe the dumbest kit I've ever had the pleasure of buying and building. Despite how dumb it is. I really like it! Some of the photos below, include the model and the real thing for comparison.
  11. Beautiful job. Very nice.
  12. Very nice. A beautiful job.
  13. Beautiful job. It looks very nice. I've thought about picking up this kit several times. But, have wondered about the decals for the engine mount/cowl, and the propeller spinner. You indicated this kit had some of the best decals you've ever worked with. This is good to hear. I may have to pick one up.
  14. A cover I remember from the mid-60's.
  15. Whoops! Of course I meant cups. But, "cubs" is pretty funny.
  16. The noodles look fine to me (and so does the shrimp). There are photos of them laser scanning the noodles for making the model (and no, I'm not kidding about that). As far as other accuracies? You can find that exact brand and flavor of noodles at any good Asian food store. The trouble in this country, the noodle's cubs have English info on them. It took me only a few hours to build the model. In fact, I built it the same day I got it. I did not use the stickers for the shrimp, or cut up and use the paper leeks. The only reason I have not posted the finished model, is I'm waiting for a more correct matching "real" noodle cup from Japan to compare it to. But I'll give you a little preview using the American market version below. The kit was a lot of fun to build. And it is amazing the work and detail they put into it. When I first saw it, I though it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. But, in the nearly one month I've had it, I've had no regrets in buying it. It's a fun conversation starter, if nothing else. Now, what to have for lunch? Need to be careful picking out the right cup.
  17. The way this one is going, I'm not holding breath on seeing them anytime soon. I really want the stock '64 Nova SS. But, has Pegasus put out any new model cars or trucks since they took over Moebius?
  18. Here's a couple of fast and fun builds. Used glue on both. Only paint on Red Baron's face and goggles. A black Sharpie for pupils and eye brows on both. That's it. They both came together in mail less than 10 hour ago. So you can see they are both very quick and easy builds. The propellers work on both planes. Though in the first picture you can see that they can not be seen while spinning. They spin too fast. Nice quality. Good stands. I like them, and would not be afraid to recommend them to others. In fact, for those of you with grandchildren, this might a fun build and bonding experience for you and the young ones.
  19. A long with my latest order from Atlantis, I got two of their 2021 catalogs. I thought it might be fun to show you the two pages dealing directly with their model car kits. Serval I plan on buying. The ones on these pages that will be getting my money are: 1/25th scale '57 Chevy Nomad 1/25th scale Jungle Jim Camaro Funny Car 1/32nd scale '56 Buick Riviera 1/32nd scale '69 Chevy Nova SS 1/32nd scale '71 Pontiac (Trans Am) A maybe: 1/32nd scale Camaro Funny Car Other kits else were in the catalog I'm sure to get: 1/300 scale SSN Nautilus Submarine 1/96th scale "The Moonship" Snoopy and his Race Car Snoopy is Joe Cool And possibly an odd one: 1/1200 scale US Navy Combat Fleet Set Cool stuff! I love what Atlantis is doing.
  20. In today's mail, a couple more air planes. Seeing hpiguy's reviews of both kits, convinced me to order them. They fun and silly kits.
  21. No resin shrimp. The shrimp included looked real enough.
  22. One thing I do not like about airplane kits vs cars. Is airplane kits rarely fit back in their box when your done building them. Making them hard to store. Where most model car kits do.
