  1. I've always wanted to build this kit. I may toy with adding the roll cage and period correct nascar wheels and tires as well...if I can stuff them under without too much trouble. Hopefully I have a better model building track record in 2025 than this year.
  2. I'm sure this is a long shot. I'm not happy with my 59 Elcamino. I really need to repaint the hood and front valance, but ran out of the paint. It is a can of Duplicolor, same size as a can of Tamiya primer. It was sold in the mid 90's at Walmart. The current offering from Duplicolor is too dark and has larger flake. Hopefully one of you is like me and never throws away paint.
  3. I'm not completely happy with it, but after four years of on and off again...it's finished.
  4. Looks like pulled pork to me. 😁
  5. Me three
  6. Back on this one. Hopefully I can push through to the finish.
  7. This is a cool idea. I may have to add another build to the bench....
  8. ADHD.....you start off wiring your distributer for your 59 Elcamino and while the paint dries you go hmmmm.... Lots of slicing and dicing yet to go. Mocked up on a stock chassis, so it's in the nosebleed section at the moment. .....oh, yeah.....the distributor.....
  9. Nice color combo.
  10. I have owned two '68 Cougars and I would definitely own one like this. Great job!
  11. Great idea. I like how clean it's all coming together.
  12. Looking forward to the under glass pics.
  13. It might be sacrilege, but there is this.
  14. I'd say don't sweat the details, but it's the little details that make it such a great build.
  15. You are doing an amazing job with this. I have to chuckle a bit though. For many years the 64 was the less desirable of the two. Many people would put a 65 front clip on their 64 as well as switch out the interior so they could have the more desirable 65 look. In essence, a clone. You are doing the complete opposite. ? I am fortunate enough to have a 1964 Elcamino body and grill. I also have a 1965 donor. My build will more than likely have a '65 "upgraded" interior. ?
  16. I love any 1/8 build, and you did a great job.
  17. This is impressive. Keep up the great work.
  18. Another one of my ideas that I want to build. You are doing a beautiful job.
  19. I fall into the category of someone who wants to build this also, as well as a 56 and 57.
  20. Rich, it says you cannot receive messages. I have the 1964 Ranchero kit, sealed bags. Send me a message please.
  21. Beautiful. Now where is the trailer?
