  1. Now if only I could afford a wrecked Tesla... Wonder how much a wrecked Leaf costs... Looks like the Leaf is much more reasonable and could be a good source for converting old Mini's, Fiat's, etc.
  2. This California based company specializes in early VW and Porsche conversions. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.zelectricmotors.com/%23:~:text%3DCalifornia%2Dbased%20Zelectric%20Motors%20transforms,classics%20for%2021st%20century%20driving.&ved=2ahUKEwit59GCtY7rAhWEsp4KHVhMAREQFjADegQIDhAL&usg=AOvVaw2c966B0rEy6aHUXwMheH75&cshid=1596986228278
  3. This British company is also releasing this electric GT500 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.autoevolution.com/news/eleanor-inspired-charge-mustang-to-debut-in-goodwood-with-electric-powertrain-135430.html&ved=2ahUKEwizld7Ps47rAhUHsZ4KHX0mDwMQFjAFegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw3WlKILCWw4APw_4-4vwNph&cshid=1596985909077 My bad, Dan already touched on this one.

  5. this is an awesome piece of technology wrapped in a classic design. https://www.slashgear.com/this-aviar-r67-is-a-tesla-model-s-with-classic-mustang-styling-07632513/amp/
  6. Something a little odd. I bought a Flintstone Chevy coe, and went hmmm... After digging through my parts boxes of 55 and 57 Chev pu's, I found one Cameo bed. And again went hmmm... So other than the cab, this is a parts box build. I shortened the frame to accommodate the cab, and cootered together a lowered front suspension out of nascar suspension parts. Oh, and it will be curbside. I have most of the parts cleaned up of old glue and just about ready for the purple pond. I have no clue on colors, wheels/ tires, or if the rake will be to much, but I managed to get the frame and suspension put together. I cannot stress "CURBSIDE" enough.
  7. These just in. Macs are from a good friend and the Bel Air from a trade.
  8. Oh, WoW ! What a great combo!
  9. Absolutely gorgeous build, and I am glad you didn't paint it silver.

  11. Nice collection!
  12. Beautiful work yet again Roger !
  13. Awesome! I have one of these to build, and love the look of yours.
  14. I wish my mind worked like yours...just a little bit. ?
  15. Looking forward to following your restoration of these cool old builds.
  16. " I get pushed out of shape and it's hard to steer When I get rubber in all four gears" Kinda fits this build. ?
  17. Would part of a 57 Chevy rear fin work?
  18. Following along Tom.
  19. Maybe this was the cheapest way for the manufacturer to offer a longer wheelbase. Longer wheelbase equals smoother ride.
  20. Sounds great, let me know when its finished and I will bring it over. ?
