  1. Sure is easy on the eyes.
  2. I love it when a pile of parts comes together. Great save, and great idea. ?
  3. You made that look easy Bill. Good work! So what color are you thinking about?
  4. These have trickled in over the past month. Most from trades, one from hobby lobby along with the paint. The bubble wrapped cars are two old Monogram 69 camaros. I built both versions as a kid, so am happy to have traded for these.
  5. Awesome! I need to pull mine out now.
  6. Always wanted a real one, now I need to find a kit. Beautiful job!
  7. I have this kit as well and wondered how it was to build. Thanks for posting your work. I also have the Trail 70 kit to go with it.
  8. Stance is perfect, and the redlines are a nice touch.
  9. So after waiting on some paint (found that the dark green might be discontinued, but Modlbldr found a can for me, thanks Tom !), I finally have it up on all fours. The wheels and engine are just mocked up for now.
  10. Another one finished! Looks great!
  11. Love it!
  12. I am building that same kit, only I am using an original issue...or two. lol Yes, it has chrome trees. Everything in the box art that is chromed comes that way.
  13. Perfect execution!
  14. I fully agree. In fact, I must have 75 or more bottles of Testors that I have not touched in years, and don't plan on ever using them. I bet 95% are just as good as new.
  15. I just realized it is curbside. Who made the kit?
  16. My thoughts exactly. Though, I do really like the dog dish look. ?
  17. Are you building this box stock, or changing up a few things?
  18. Love it! So much in fact, I plan on plagiarizing it. ?
  19. I have not built one of these since I was a kid. Hubley Packard and Duesenberg. MPC.....Lincoln roadster iirc? Been a long time. I think I may have something in the stash that might qualify.
  20. Right back at ya Casey429 !
  21. Looks great Tom. I might have to send you all my stuff that needs airbrushed. ?
  22. Stunning work.
  23. Glad you decided to get back on this. The 28-9 A-pickup has always been a favorite. A friend of my dad's built one that I fell in love with as a kid. 48 flathead, zephyr 3spd, juice brakes, Kelsey Hayes wires, and wrapped in the old Ford dark green. Sweet little truck.
  24. Will be watching this one Bill. I built mine a number of years aho and loved it. High on my list of grail 1:1s
  25. Thanks Mark, Tom. Also, thanks Tom for finding that paint. We are experiencing high winds, wild fires, and power outages, so what does that leave one to do? Wiring and finding the correct rubb...I mean...v-belt. ? I find it interesting that this engine has no fan. I guess I can't drive it in parades.
