  1. Looks good! Are you going to do the trim around the windows?
  2. You have it looking really good. Love your inspiration car.
  3. Sad way to get a great collection.
  4. So it's interior time. I keep scrubbing the white rubbery parts with soft scrub with bleach and I think I can live with the results. Working with thin warped plastic is real fun. I sprayed a seal coat over the old instrument decals and will give them a try. They mount on clear plastic that fits in behind the chrome bezel.
  5. That came out looking great. I can hardly wait to see more.
  6. I am hoping you can keep that killer stance.
  7. Cool! I built one as a kid and forgot all about it until I saw your post.
  8. Is it in the purple pond yet? ?
  9. Have you made it to the bottom of the box yet? ?
  10. That is one gorgeous car. ?
  11. Thanks guys ! So I have been working with the body components, and have come to the realization that sometimes you just have to be content with warped plastic. This plastic has become so brittle with age that using the hot water trick didn't even faze it, still managed to crack the floor. Three pieces to the body, main bucket, cowl, and firewall. I primed all of them, and then painted the inside of all three, then assembled and painted the outside. Turned out pretty good.
  12. Would love to see more of the Buick.
  13. Yea, they played the state fair every year, he was originally from Portland.
  14. Ha ! My first concert also....in 1989 or 90, Oregon state fair.
  15. Ditto. ?
  16. Found my glue at HL...along with a couple more things. ?
  17. Great little shop truck. You don't happen to have a 245/55/18 on the truck? ?
  18. Those are beautiful cars. Nice job on the resurrection.
  19. That tire shop is over in Hillsboro, right? ?
  20. Looks better with that factory tank removed. ?
  21. Fuel tank finished up and installed.
  22. Thanks, glad you like it. I am already trying to figure out how to rearrange my display case. Thanks Alan. I also have the coupe, brand new in the box. This is a trial run and learning curve for the next one. Trying hard to keep it simple and just finish it, but the large scale just begs for a lot of detail. I also was keeping the larger scale for a future day, but it is a nice change from the norm, and I was also thinking I might not ever build one if I keep putting it off for the future.
  23. Are you having any sales on tires? I could use a set. ?
