Beautiful truck Tom! You must have an assembly line like old Henry had, with all them squirrels hanging around. I am particularly interested in how the bed went together. Did you have any problems or have any tricks that will help me? I have picked up a couple of these beds and a couple of the matching trailers over the years. I have a huge (for me) project I am gearing up for. My father in law drives a T800 with a bed like this, and trailer. I have the AMT T600, the resin T800 kit, and this bed and matching trailer. His first one was a '96, the one I took lots of pics of was his 2011, and he currently is in a 2017. Before the Kenworth, he was in a '83 Mack with the same box and trailer, hence the reason I have two beds and two trailers. I should post a pic or two in discussion and show what I have collected, so you all can let me know what else I need to get.

Looking sharp! Your interior panels look familiar, I just can't place them though. -
I like the T-birds and Lincolns from that era. A friend of my moms had a 64 T-bird convertible that she used to take me for rides in, and my dad had both a 61 and a 62 Lincoln continental. One of our neighbors had a Convertible. I just picked up the wagon parts from that 65 kit in hope's to make a phantom wagon out of something.

The 37 Pontiac is a beautiful car. I dont know why I thought of this, but maybe you could use the Black Force slammer kit for a hood. Most people, like myself, only buy them for the wheels. While the body is molded in one piece, it does have a long hood. You could cut it away from the body and it might work. Here is a pic and if you dont already have one, pm me. I have always liked the 37-8 GM cars. Here is an old pic of a 38 Buick Special that I might be acquiring.

Beautiful cars, both of them. It's cool that th 61 was used in movies and ads. I love the early quad light Corvette, and if I built a version of one, it would be this one. Yes, there is a Corvette in the pic. -
Excellent! Love that color!

Very understated paint scheme Tom. Getting a definite 50's vibe. -
It's the little things that make it seem like it's taking forever. Great job plugging along with all the details. I am getting excited as you come down the home stretch.

Another great transaction with falcon wagon.

"Honey, I shrunk the...V10". You are doing a great job with shrinking the engine. On a side note, I owned a 1985 Dodge Omni GLH turbo. It was lighter and faster than the Daytona Z. Never lost to anyone when I grabbed 5th. ?

Grest job on the front suspension and the wheels look great. I'll reserve judgment on the color combo until I see it finished. ? -

That is a nicely detailed diecast of a great car. A friend of mine just bought a concours winning 1929 Durant. It is gorgeous!
