  5. Saw this on the way home today. Nobody hurt.
  6. Ha! I am watching you build 1/43 while eyeing my 1/8.
  7. Good job on the RS, and that Bat 5 is one cool looking car.
  8. 1966 Mercury. Built 460/C6/9in posi/4whl pdb/ps.
  9. Alex, That blue really looks good on the Mazda, and the extra work on the taillights was worth it, they have great depth. So what's next on the bench?
  10. I dont know Steve, I think you could have opened up the vents in that speaker grille and put a speaker behind it. ?
  11. My first set of wheels was a '53 GMC. Yours is a beauty.
  12. A friend of mine had a '78 that he put an SVO drivetrain in...it really woke that little pony up.
  13. I can hear the Miami Vice theme song playing right now. ? While pastels might be out of style, I do like a well done pro-street, and that is what you have achieved...x2.
  14. Those are a couple of good looking shoe boxes Tom! So what are the plans for that Chevy pu in the background?
  15. A girl I went to school with, her dad was into both the golden and silver hawks, he had half a dozen really nice ones. Beautiful cars, both luxurious as well as powerful when equipped with that Paxton supercharged 289. Nice collection of Studebakers. My dad had a 51 bullet nose, my cousin has a 46 pickup, and a friend had a 64 wagonaire.
  16. Those are stunning!
  17. I will follow along no matter what direction you go.
  18. Can you post pics please, and where you got them from, or pm me the info. Those are on my wish list.
  19. What he said! I will add STUNNING!
  20. WoW Eric, that is an awesome and intimidating car. I have only seen a few of these massive automobiles over the years but they always make every other car around them pale in comparison. Glad you stuck with it !
  21. So Britney's big hit has been running through my head this weekend. Seems that the '53 F-100 will have a stablemate and I will be busy for the rest of my life. One 1937 Buick special straight eight sedan. Front clip has been removed and the engine pulled for a rebuild in 1981. Pics are bad due to the tarp and soft side garage. Engine is brand new rebuild, carb has been rebuilt, new pressure plate and clutch disc. I even have an old violin case for the rear window. ? The guy I got it from has owned it since the 70's. He had replaced the wiring with an OEM one, converted it to 12v and put new glass in it. The one pic is from 1981.
  22. I love these cars Tom, and this is probably the best one I have ever seen. I like it so much it hurts. ???
