  1. Had a great trade with Kerry. Thanks again !
  2. Right back at you Hugh!
  3. Realized I posted this six years ago, added a couple more to the stash and have yet to build one. ?
  4. I do not know how I stumble across these things, but here we go again. The deeper I got into the article the more my head shook in disbelief. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthusiasts/backward-glances-mingled-dna-a-streamline-trailer-mated-to-a-jeep-forward-control/ar-AAAKvD9?li=BBnb4R5
  5. I really like how you have it sitting on the pallet on the forklift. Maybe you could continue the diorama with a truck sitting under an overhead crane, waiting to get this engine installed. Have the hood assembly sitting off to the side on a cart. Radiator leaning against a wall. You get the idea.
  6. One more thing. I noticed the box art for the trailer shows it being silver. I researched it and chrome is not an option, but in the under glass section I found it built in both silver and in white. I like both but what do you guys think, silver or white ?
  7. So with work picking up and yard work needing done now that we have dried out, I finally took some time for the bench. After gluing the loose spots on the frame I changed it over to saddle tanks. I also repaired the broken front axle, sorted out the wheels and tires I want to use, and painted them up. Since I could not remove the grille from the fender assembly, I stripped the chrome and put bmf under the satin black, something I have never tried before. Still lots to sort out on the chassis and clean up before paint but it felt good to sit down at the bench again.
  8. After fighting the old trailer and still not looking good enough to put behind the tractor, I again went to the well...the four boxes of trailer parts that is, and found enough pieces to build a new old stock trailer with a few pieces from the old one. I also managed to clean up the wheels and add some detail.
  9. Love it ! The old AMT 39-40's are a favorite of mine.
  10. I can't decide which one I like better, Shiny or dirty.
  11. Did you split the exhaust on that old stove bolt and run straight pipes? You nailed the look with this one!
  12. Oh, and Brian, that exhaust flex pipe is MUCH better than a bendy straw.
  13. ...I have a fleet ! DJ sent me some decals for my Chevies that totally rock! He thought they were fitting since I live in the NW. He was spot on ! Now I just need to replace my dead printer so I can make some more. Thanks again DJ!
  14. To quote Rusty from The Incredibles... "That was totally wicked!!" Thanks again for all the hard work that made this possible.
  15. Oh, WoW ! This is an awesome list ! Thanks so much for compiling this. Could the engine colors be added? I know it would help me.
  16. That interior color really pops against the black. Great choice!
  17. Nothing like red and black on a truck. Love this build!
  18. Alright! This should be incredible looking when you're finished with it.
