    I like the stripe, but the red line tires look cartoonish with the stripe.

    I have a magazine somewhere that did a factory test between the 1970 454SS Chevelle ,El Camino, and Monte Carlo. So yes, your uncles could have been a 454SS Monte.

    That is July 1st? I really like the looks of what the previous builder was doing with the 56. I will go with that one. Hopefully the windows fit. ? Warning, my oldest son is getting married in September, so things might get in the way. ??

    Ok, but my 57 Nomad has not been started yet. I found the rest of them in a bunch of models I bought years ago. The 56, and one of the 55's, and one of the 57 hard tops has been started. I could go with one of them, or I could start the Nomad. What do you think Tom?

    Maybe you are old enough to finish it. I would be thrilled to see it done. I know I need to build mine as well. Maybe a double build will help motivate both of us? ? After all, I am a big boy now too. ?

    I really like how you have it sitting on the pallet on the forklift. Maybe you could continue the diorama with a truck sitting under an overhead crane, waiting to get this engine installed. Have the hood assembly sitting off to the side on a cart. Radiator leaning against a wall. You get the idea.
