Actually, the 66 was the same as the 65 Falcon , just skinned. I have owned a 60, 62, 63, 64, 65, and 66 Falcon. The entire 66 , under the skin, was identical to my 65. The 67-69 was slightly different even though the 67-69 looked similar to the 66. The 70 was a completely different body. The thing is, Mustang people do not like that that it was just a re-skinned Falcon. The 66-7 Fairlane people also do not like that it was just a stretched Falcon. Long live the Falcon ! ???

The first dump truck that my father-in-law drove for the company he works for was a 1983 Mack. B series? The one he drove was sold out of county but its sister truck was sold local. I want to build a model of his so he took me out to see this one so I could get some pics. I think I really could sell this pic. Any help on what Mack kit to use as a base would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ha ! I have been painting 1:1 for years. Two weeks ago I repaired and painted a motorcycle tank for a friend. Turned out beautiful. Let it cure out for week, went to pick it up and....dropped it. New dent, multiple scratches. Yesterday I repaired everything, and painted it. The clear coat proceeded to lift and looks just like yours. So I walked away. I have enough paint left for one more try..... It happens to everyone once in awhile. ?

Funny, I have owned a 73, 77 ,and 78 Datsun, an '80 Courier, and three Rangers, two '86, and an '88. Even had a '96 Dakota. After owning full size pickups for the last 15 years I am going back in time. (cue Huey Lewis) I am looking at a very nice '88 x-cab 4x4 V6 5spd Ranger with only 83k miles. It will suit my work needs perfectly and get better mileage than my current full size while being cheap to maintain and easy to work on.
