  1. I did the Hubley Model A Coupe, roadster, and roadster pu when I was about 8-10. The other Model A's were done by my older siblings, and cousin in the mid 60s.
  2. Love the color. I have one of these in my stash as well.
  3. Great job on my favorite year for this body style. So much cleaner than the Hawks that came after.
  4. Sweeeet!
  5. I am seeing all the pics just fine, and what I am seeing is REAL fine !! ?
  6. Nice! I just picked up the reissue of the SS with the mini bike.
  7. Oooooh! I be followin this one. I had a sweet 1:1 and have about half a dozen kits in various stages of planning. ?
  8. That is a sweet rig. Great job !
  9. Following this one also. ?
  10. I have a soft spot for Hubley models. My Dad would buy them for me and we would actually work on them together. They are all in need of restoration, but since I had to dig them out to see what all I had, I took some pics. I have all the Model A's. The pickup, roadster and coupe I built when I was 8-10, the Vicky was built by my older cousin in the mid sixties, and the woody and touring car were built by my older brother and sister in the mid sixties. The Duesenberg was built by the same older cousin, the 32 Chevies and the Packard roadster were by me when I was 10-13. I picked up a second Duesenberg, the Packard sport phaetans, and the other model a's over the years. The Town Sedan is new in the box. I am currently in the middle of a trade for two Model T's and another Packard Roadster. I am always looking to trade for parts, partials, old built ups, and kits. Thanks for looking at my dusty old builds. ? I realize I am in need of a couple instruction sheets as well. ?
  11. Looks great ! I also recognize the livery. ? I live over by Newport, where are you at?
  12. Even the steel is no good, the temper is gone from the heat.
  13. Beautiful cars....?
  14. I am really drawn to these body styles. I have the Color Me Gone that I have been converting into a pro street car. Keep up the great work !
  15. So this is what I am planning on joining in with. I am going to live with the paint and try real hard not to notice the sink mark's that did not get filled properly, that and the bad glue job under the trunk lid. If I strip it, it will never get finished... Thinking about sticking with the deep dish rims, and repainting the small block and adding the tri-carb setup. Maybe even no side trim....
  16. Well....it's no Falcon, that's for sure. ? Still is a great subject and beautiful work on it as always. ?
  17. That's cool! Still miss my old '73 Scout. Hopefully someone will get lots of good pics.
  18. Just a shout out to Mr. Metallic for posting the thread on the HL clearance stuff. I picked up these kits and a can of clear for a whopping $27.00
  19. That '48 is gorgeous... Snake, Tom Geiger said he would bring out his '57 Nomad if I did one of mine. So I am jumping in with a '56 Belair.
  20. You are on a roll Brian, and all great stuff!
  21. Took care of my problems as well. Thanks!
  22. After all the trading, this is what I ended up with. The 1\8 Jag has been on my wish list for years. I ended up with two 60 Impalas, and two Firestone pu's. The Toronado is just cool !
