  1. Thanks to DJ (TECHMAN), sending me the steering column and air horns, I now have the interior and cab all finished. I had a minor, well MAJOR, setback. Long story short, in a sleep depraved and frantic 4am morning rush to get out of the house, the entire hood assembly accidentally got recycled. I happened to mention this the next day to Jeff while sorting out the shipping details for that old KW oil field rig and he is sending me a complete replacement hood assembly ! So a big shout out to gotnitro? So cab assembly and no more rats nest out back.
  2. It sure is nice to have all those parts. This model needed half a dozen little parts and they were all in my parts boxes. So things went back together real smooth.....except for the mirrors. Even with old glue points on the model and an instruction sheet, I still do not know if they are right. ....and while going through all the boxes, I found a matching trailer. So the wip continues. I will need new decals though.
  3. Yes please, more pics is better. ?
  4. I really like this one. Great work on the cab and save on the box.
  5. Just wanted to thank TECHMAN for the parts. DJ is a great guy who I have been on forums with for years.
  6. It's not easy being green..... But you sure make it look easy! Great job Kerry!
  7. I know for me, I had not touched a model in over a year. I was out of work and dealing with a health issue. It was just what I needed. Since I finished the Titan, I have gone through my entire big rig stash that had not seen the light of day in five years. I repaired a trailer that needed it, started two restorations, and even have plans to attend a model show and am even going as a vendor to sell off a bunch of car stuff I will never get to. So yea, I would say it worked too ! ?
  8. Nice truck Clay. How much did you stretch it?
  9. I like it. I can hardly wait to see it with a wash on it.
  10. Hey you two. There is a model show in Portland on Saturday April 13th if you can come. Even has vendors. I can send you the info if you would like. I will be there with a few for the show and a bunch to sell.
  11. Thanks Anthony! I have been plugging away at it the last couple days and finally have the chassis together. Dennis did a real nice job on this with how little glue he used.....but that equals lots of parts falling off as you glue more on! One would think that with all the glue points easy to see that it would all line up, but noooooo, I'm fighting fit issues! I also did a wash to the grille, picked out the emblem, and added high output high beams since they were missing. Nice thing about this model is that I actually have all the missing parts in my parts boxes!
  12. Good eye Scott! I wish the roof came off, the double bunk is carpeted and it even has a sink with fixture and a refrigerator/freezer combo. The compartment doors could have even been hinged if you wanted, they are all sealed compartments. Even has a headliner in the cab. What part of Washington are you in?
  13. I will be following along. The company my father-in-law works for has transfers and I was wondering how to build one. Fortunately he does not drive one so his truck is easier to replicate. lol
