  1. Always enjoy your builds Dennis.
  2. Welcome Enrico.
  3. The '98 evolution was one curvy sexy beast! Nice work Gary.
  4. I use Sharpies often. I have a multi-color pack I keep at my work bench. These tail lights are orange Sharpie with the chrome surround on the lights was done with silver. Brown was used to create the wood affect on this steering wheel. The gauge trim rings were done in silver.
  5. As Bill J indicates Daytona and Sebring were part of the FIA World Sportscar Championship in 1966, therefore FIA rules applied - suit box cases would be required. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1966_World_Sportscar_Championship Daytona & Sebring were also part of the Championship in 1967. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_World_Sportscar_Championship
  6. Very nice.
  7. I did a fair amount of work to the body to improve the look to my eye. The chassis really doesn't represent a replica stock (production) car. It depends on how particular you are regarding the details but I have seen some nice builds of the basic kit. Here is a link to my project:

  9. Nice.
  10. I would buy this kit for sure! Working on Bob Johnson's '64 Falcon he competed with in Trans-Am, based on the Trumpeter kit.
  11. Don't wish to offend the owner but wondering if "R" is for replica? Hard to wrap my head around this gentlemen being able to buy one of the original five FIA roadsters built. Regardless it looks like a great car and would love to have it parked in my garage!
  12. A young man trying to navigate the mysteries of a woman for the first time.
  13. Turned out great Ray.
  14. For those that may not have been so inclined to look at my Gunze Coupe thread here is a comparison of the Lindberg (red plastic) and the Gunze bodies.
  15. Sweet!
  16. CSX2345 is the only un-restored FIA Roadster I am aware of. The Shelby American Museum considers it's value as "priceless". https://shelbyamericancollection.org/cars/1964-fia-cobra-roadster-csx2345/
  17. I have the 1997 edition of the SAAC Registry and none of the team race cars include a "R" suffix in the chassis number

    GT350

    Very nice.
  19. Not familiar with the "R" suffix in the chassis number - does it denote a re-issued chassis number? It's almost certainly not Ken Miles' USRRC roadster. https://shelbyamericancollection.org/cars/1964-usrrc-cobra-roadster-csx2431/
  20. Looks like Chassis# CSX2431R but not sure.
  21. Turned out great.
  22. Great build Daniel.
  23. Ralph, I believe the Gunze Cobra Daytona kit is actually 1/25 scale, check out my thread and see what you think:
