  1. Thanks Ray & Carl. Fabricated the seat cushions and better pedals. Modified a wheel knock off for the fuel tank cap. Added brackets for the accelerator and brake linkage.
  2. Drilled out the marked holes on the outer sprocket. Used it as a template to layout the holes on the inner sprocket.
  3. The water looks great Yordon.
  4. Not finished yet Gene, just waiting it's turn to get back on the bench.
  5. Like the color choices.
  6. Fabricated steering linkage and drilled lightening holes in the side bolsters.
  7. Nice work Tim on an unusual race car.
  8. My work space isn't as finished as your's Drew (I started with just a rough framed closet). However I installed peg board on the walls, provides lots of visible storage for parts and tools. If you don't want to go that route you might consider putting cork board on the walls to make pinning things up easier.
  9. Very nice Chris. Let's go Pens!!
  10. Turned out great Ray.
  11. A forum member hooked me up with the Go Kart from the AMT '60 Chevy pickup kit. This will be one of the cargo options. I want to build a more stripped down lightweight version of the cart so I won't be using the large padded set. I fabricated the seat back and extended the belly pan back under the seat area. I'll make a seat cushion and back pad later.
  12. Can you make the floor integral with the body? Use a straight edge resting on the frame to mark where the floor should attach to the body. Maybe start at the rear kick up and work your way forward section-by-section. The last section would still need to be installed through the roof however. You could attach cleats to the inside of the body to help align the floor panels correctly.
  13. Don't have this in the collection but might be worth checking out. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2016/06/03/recommended-reading-porsche-the-4-cylinder-4-cam-sports-racing-cars/
  14. Thanks Eric & Jacob. Chassis is finished.
  15. Love it! Not as far fetched as you might imagine. Shelby worked with Toyota for a short time
  16. Coming along nicely Ray.
  17. I've seen photos of an AMT nose graft on the Sunny/Academy/Minicraft kit, so it should work. I went a different route choosing to fill and modify the Sunny/Academy/Minicraft body.
  18. From the internet:
  19. I'll bet those carbon fiber decals on the front forks was also fun! Anxious to see the bike complete.
  20. Exceptional execution and design Dann - well done!!
  21. I think this project should have it's own build thread. Looks great so far
  22. Chassis looks great Shawn.
