  1. Working with the narrow body, I grafted on the turbo wing from another damaged body I had on hand. Although not 100% correct this will allow a reasonable facsimile of the C4 Lightweight to be built. A very rare car of which only 22 examples were built. Or by using the high wing I could build a N-GT version. I'm going the Lightweight route as I will be using the high wing on the Turbo.
  2. This thread will be a bit of a ramble as I'm playing with different versions of the 964. First up is the Turbo body. I added a strip around the circumference of the factory five spoke wheels to increase there diameter and also deepened them to fit the racing slicks. Fujimi provides only the stock interior in the racing version of the kit. I removed the back seat and fabricated a bulkhead as a first step to a proper racing interior.
  3. You're raising the bar with this one Dann - excellent work!
  4. Love it already.
  5. I hope there was no cat-astrophe.
  6. Always enjoy your builds Dax.
  7. Excellent work Dominik.
  8. I think you could modify the custom roof into a respectable wagon top. I modified one into this.
  9. I've seen crop dusters fly which is quite impressive.
  10. You would need to be an Olympic high jumper to clear that door Le Mans start style.
  11. I bought several of the handles in Andy's photo in different colors. I installed different style blades in each. The colors help me quickly identify them on my work bench.
  12. I know you know this Rick but for others that may not, the 427 had an OEM Mustang shifter installed backwards thus the forward lean. The big block positioned the transmission further back in the tunnel and a straight shifter would have been nearly behind the driver.
  13. Always liked the British Airways' livery. IIRC it was a one off for the RAC Rally only.
  14. Impressive work thus far Michi.
  15. I don't have the Ranchero kit so I'm not sure how different the chassis is however I used the Trumpeter coupe chassis under my '63 Falcon and adapted the Revell '41 Willys suspension. Used the Ford big block from the AMT '60 Starliner. Happy with how it turned out.
  16. Mentioned this before but HRM makes a very nice 289 with down draft Webers. Drop that in the engine bay and you would be very close to a B/FX version.
  17. Shelby looks good David.
  18. Brilliant work here my friend.
  19. Great news Jeremy. I'm sure being home lifts everyone's spirits.
  20. There we go. Nice to keep all this great project under one thread.
