    Doesn't many kits in the Early Iron series included these same slotted mags?

    I buy more aftermarket parts and trans-kits these days than full kits. I like Spot Model and Scale Production both of which have been mentioned. Recently did some business with BNA, USCP and Motorbitz and had good luck with all of them. Model Builder's Warehouse also has excellent service and products.

    No body kits that I'm aware of but as Les has pointed out there are aftermarket parts available. Also the chassis are all the same in the Fujimi 911 kits, this make the bodies interchangeable. Your could swap in Turbo body with the much bigger fender (wing) flares or even a flat-nose.

    That's what is great about modeling. We can recreate these great cars and many others , in scale for a tiny fraction of what restoring a 1:1 would cost.

    Dan, the roll cage AAR used is one of the most complex I have built. Here is my build thread. I gathered a fair amount of reference on the cars so if I can be of help just ask.

    Yep the sheet metal boxes at the back end of a GT40 were there to hold the phantom suitcases. Later they add just a rack to hold the luggage.

    Rules of day also required GTs to have a passenger seat and space to carry a suitcase.

    SpotModel used a photo I had taken in one of their weekly flyers. I called it to there attention and they sent me a free set of decals - very decent of them.
