  1. Here's the box art. A couple of pictures of the big motor fitment. I'm going with the flat head for this one. The other one is a who knows. Even with the motor moved back as far as it will go without trimming, it looks too long to fit at the front end.
  2. I've decided to go with the flat head. The 390 would be hard for me to fit. I tested it out again and it would need a lot of cutting to get it to fit. The kit has a lot of nice extra parts with it including some chrome tools. I'm getting ready to go to a car show, but after the show I'll post a picture of the other side of the motor and of the box. I picked two of them up at Ollies a few months ago for $7.99 each.
  3. Started working on The Tall T a few days ago. Here's a picture of where it is now. I'm planning a late 50s early 60s style build and while the kit has several options for a flat head, it also has a T-bird motor included, which I'd like to use. The directions say that the firewall must be trimmed to use this motor, but the starter and bell housing by the starter hit the frame. I can handle the firewall trim, but I don't know how to solve the starter problem without cutting the starter and bell housing off the motor. I don't want to make it look like too much of a hack job. If anyone has built this kit, and used this motor, would you let me know how you handled it Here's a picture of the motor. Thanks.
  4. Nice stuff.
  5. I just finished this one. I needed a break from trying to super detailing (still learning) kept it simple. Other than the Slixx decals and a blower it is from the box. I enjoyed seeing Arnie race back in the day, and it looks nice stacked on top of his Catalina I built a while ago.
  6. Picked this one up at Hobby Lobby. I'm planning a 60's style street/gasser build if I can pull it off.
  7. Very nice. I remember seeing that car race back in the day.
  8. Back in my younger days I built a few of these. It's such a nice looking car, and your build came out nice. It looks like its off to E-Bay for another kit for my collection.
  9. I was around when the Beach Boys came up. A few years ago I got to see Brain Wilson in concert to promote his new album. It was great to see a legend in action.

  11. The Pontiac Fiero kits I have come with a 2.5 4 and a 2.8 six.
  12. Here's some from this weekend. My 1st in class Fiero. A nice Ford with a 428. 1903 Olds.
  13. Thanks and the same to you.
  14. Saw a white 1st gen. Camero that looked original. It was white with the 6 cylinder emblem on it with a bit of smoke coming out the tail pipe, Also a dark blue 57 Chevy wagon and a 30's fork retro hot rod. It was flat black with red steel wheels and a full hood on it so I couldn't see the motor. both looked nice.
  15. I put these up in the Hudson thread when it turned to tucker, so I'll post them here also. These are at the AACA museum in Hershey, PA. Tucker 1001, the first off the production line # 1026 # 1022

  19. Nice model. Here are a couple of pictures of one at the AACA museum in Hersey PA. Very low, as can be seen against the car next to it, and the height of the speaker pole in the second picture.
  20. Super job. What brand of paint and color is it,the paint is sharp.
