  1. GREAT looking F1, Benito! You did a super job on this.
  2. I think it looks great, David! Nice job!
  3. Very nice, Neil!! What a great looking model. I've built this one for a friend and hated giving it to him, it builds up so nice. I remember that I cut the long body side decals into two or three separate pieces. Did you do anything like that? Were you able to do them as one piece?
  4. This is such a good looking Chevelle. Great work all around! I really like the blue and it looks like you laid it down perfectly.
  5. I really like the reflection in the paint on the first picture. It shows off that terrific paint job! Nice GTO!
  6. Great looking Mopar, Michael. Nice job on the paint, interior and engine! Also nice work on all of the little details!
  7. Holy cats!! Love the floorboards! Not to get off-topic, but this is something that model builders and contest judges need to understand. Real, raced, race cars, especially as you go back in time, more often than not, are not these super spotless show machines. They have all sorts of warts and blemishes on and in them. Not all the body panels are precisely lined up. The paint was not miles deep and ultra glossy. I could go on and on but you get my point. Do not try to build an accurate replica or people will think you are a terrible modeler.

    Tamiya 350Z

Thanks for the comments, guys! Yes, they are fun to drive. Plenty of speed and mine handles like a dream. My Z is a 2006 and what makes it a head turner is the paint. It is called Interlagos Fire. It is a Nissan factory paint that is color changing. Not a pearl but a true chameleon or flip-flop paint. You can find plenty of pictures and videos on the internet of this car.

    Tamiya 350Z

This is an older build of Tamiya's 350Z. It is an out-of-box build. Not much to tell about it. It was a fun, quick build. Please excuse the bits of fuzz on the model. It is funny, most people build a model of a car they've owned. I bought a car of a model I built. Really, I did. I knew nothing about 350Zs until I built this model. After doing research on the car, I thought they were kind of cool. As fate would have it, a local dealership had a used one on the lot and as they say, the rest is history.
  10. Well I must be more blind than I thought because it looks great to me. I've liked this car, (1:1), from the first time I laid eyes on it.
  11. Two more great looking models! Revell should use these two for their box art models!
  12. I really like both of these! I'm not a Kurt Busch fan but I like the livery of both cars. Fantastic job on the flat black paint and glossy decals.
  13. Outstanding work, Nicolas! The exhausts came out great!
  14. I really like where this one is headed! I am a sucker for military themed autos. She is looking good, Mark.
  15. I've probably said this before, but I appreciate the time and effort you, or anyone else for that matter, put into taking pictures, writing captions and posting them on the forum!
  16. I missed this on the first go around, I am happy to have seen it now. She is a very clean model. I really like the color choice. Nice job!
  17. I mainly build racecars. As of yet, I have not clear coated any of them. To the best of my knowledge most racecars are not cleared. I have never had a problem with decals lifting or coming off. There is nothing wrong with clear coating your cars. The choice is yours.
  18. These are going to be cool! Can't wait to see how they turn out.
  19. Is it safe to assume that this is also the same kit as the "L.A. Street Chopper"?
  20. Beautiful model of a beautiful race car!
  21. It is nice to see a non-blinged out model. The Plain Jane cars don't get a lot of love. Your model captures what many of us saw on the streets back in the day. Nice job!
  22. Great model of a great car!
  23. What a perfect color for that car! Paint job looks great. Nice model!
  24. You, Sir, are one talented builder. Very, very nice!
  25. It just looks natural. Not gaudy, not forced, just looks like it was intended to be that way. Too cool, Jonathan!
