  1. Too bad, I wouldn't mind seeing a 1/12 '69 Charger.
  2. They "only" had to add the "Police specific", parts to an already existing kit...which probably were already on the drawing board, when they were designing the diecast versions of the Police Charger, so I assume a bit cheaper, then an all new tool. But Steve Goldman, will know for sure....
  3. A couple of years ago, I ordered a couple of Coke crates from him, was very satisfied with the product and the transaction.
  4. Thanks for the info, Harry!
  5. Hmm, "blew it again", blew what? They release a great subject, and offer an alternative version, reminicent of an old racing vehicle or maybe a tribute. I'm sure resin casters will coime up with the "right" body style, so praise Revell that you don't have to look out for a $15 decal sheet... A good thing Bill isn't around anymore to read this krap even before the kit is released!!!
  6. My favorite book, is a series broken down per decade, "Cars of the..." '40s, '50s, '60s and '70s by Publications international.ltd.
  7. In which kits one would be able to find these parts? Or...is there a resin caster who has all the hardware, needed to build a HD truck? Interesting read guys!!
  8. Interesting info, guys. Can anyone here point me to good sites with chassis photo's? Thx again.
  9. I'm wondering if they will be able to shorten the lead times on the development of modern Nascar racers, something you don't have to worry about, when you're releasing something like a Petty Superbird. Also any news if they will be WOF or full glue kits?
  10. I have to agree with Art... I assume....it's like in the 1:1 car world, the sedans and hardtops are embraced by car enthusiasts, because they're cheap and easy to work with, I assume there are more customized versions, then that there are "restored to factory specs" examples out there, I bet everyone here knows some guy who's tinkering with one, they're like big scale model kits, lots of aftermarket parts available and you can even drive it, how much better does it get? A convertible as nice a car it is, is rare due to fewer produced and even fewer who survived the tin worm, so much more expensive and also the structure and weight of a convertible always compromises a good performance/drag setup. So IMHO a convertible kit, if released will sell to a small contingent of car modelers, and after a few dozen or so years will bring top dollar on ebay, due to is rarity. Again I'm assuming here, you guys have to remember I'm looking at this from a distance.
  11. Perfect! Thanks for the info Chuck!
  12. Sorry to pull this old tread, but does anyone have the outer diameter in mm of the rims? Thanks in advance Luc
  13. Thank you Jordan, for the info on the tire and the great link, I already saved it into my favorites folder. Thanks again!!! Luc
  14. I would like a photo of the tires and the in- outside diameter and width (in mm) from them if possible. Thanks in advance Luc

  16. That's our national food, we must eat it ones a week, or we are deported to Holland LOL Ever been to Belgium? Thanks Joe!
  17. Normally I ask my wife to buy a kit, but the ones I'm interested in are not released yet, so she took me to a nice restaurant.
  18. Hey, thanks guys!!!! BTW Greg, you've put way too many candles on my cake, I'm not that old. May I have the keys for your Charger now? :) :)
  19. Still remember the Monogram catalogs having a monthly release plan, which was pretty much followed I seem to recall...
  20. Tamiya lost it's edge on 1/35 armor, certainly if you look at what Tasca crancks out these days....their Sherman tanks are amazing. Maybe they should start another scale ;^)
