  1. Hmm, maybe the Dr. Oetker van as our kitchen stowes many of their products, the rest...not my cup of tea sadly. BTW is this an official list? cuz didn't see anything announced on the Revell site.
  2. Interesting topic Casey and one which I've been advocating since Round-2 took over full ownership of the Amt/mpc legacy and hardware The subject matter I would choose:. - '71-'76 Pontiac Firebirds - '68-'69 Dodge Coronet - '70-'71 Plymouth 'Cuda - '70-'71 Dodge Challenger - 71-'72 Plymouth Roadrunner - '72-'76 Dodge Tradesman Van Updated promo style (separate hoods, clear head and tail-lamps) and all shut-panel lines engraved, would be even better if they would do the interior bckets with separate side-panels snap styles, but that's probably pushing it
  3. Absolutely a fan of the Monogram Firebird kits, I never had their snap-tite Camaro so can't comment on that.
  4. with the prospect of some lawyer coming out of the woodwork, for copy right infringement? There's a reason no one succeeded in doing anything positive with the Jo-Han legacy.
  5. Sold mine two months ago. it's just a DM600 with an extra tree holding some Rubber Duck parts.
  6. then there's this.. https://www.shippingandfreightresource.com/thousands-of-containers-overboard-in-worst-containership-disaster-one-apus/
  7. As the saying goes....the proof of the pudding is in the eating'
  8. Great job, to me this Jaguar will always be tied to a great TV series; Morse
  9. To our English friends here, I wonder what Round2 should add at minimum so one can build it Euro spec, and to the powers at Round2 could it be worth while and generating more then enough extra sales in Europe to cover the expense?.....question questions
  10. a consignment deal, he get's a percentage from each sale, and the price setting is done with mutual consent and he has his own website plus does an open house once a month.
  11. I know, the only way to have it back will involve an all new body including the year specific parts, IMHO and if the ROI is there I would advice powers of Round-2 to scan an old annual and re-engineer it to a curbside kit, and emphasize more on the dress-up parts, interior and exterior.
  12. no worries, the mind sometimes plays tricks on us, anyway the reason I remember the date is that I visited the RCHTA show that year and together wit Dean Milano , organised the Hobby Heaven party. Okey was a exhibitor at the show and visited the HH party.
  13. I'm letting a dealer sell some 300 kit of mine...
  14. IIRC that was 2003ish, the police car also had vacu formed glass included and a much better newly designed decal sheet.
  15. Dunno, but would like to have the wire wheels of the Regal.
  16. Personally I always preferred the 1/24th scale of the Monograms, but later I went for subject matter over scale, besides it's not because something is labeled in a certain scale, that it is, case in point some of the AMC kits by Jo-Han. Build what you like, all the rest is not worth worrying about Cheers Luc
  17. Would love to have the pre-facelifted Dodge Van again, box-art...a black van with a flame job just like in the movie, Death car on the freeway!
  18. I enter this one....it was out in the 80s then everything gets a little fuzzy on the whereabouts or condition of the tooling. Even if they don't find it, or fell off a forklift or so, no biggie...cuz the late 90s designed '71 Charger kit has the guts one needs to put under a newly designed shell preferably a '72 with the elastomer bumper option, what do you you all say, yea or nay? 19. The big question is, is the tooling still there, and if so in what shape?
  20. Mark guessed one, the other was a rather great one, but only as an annual That makes 3 As many of you know the Covit-19 pandemic, brought the classic hobbies under the attention of the general public again, with soaring sales as a result, and personally do hope that many newbies stick with this wonderful hobby, but despite the great efforts that specific company makes, retrieving and updating many childhood dream kits, I don't think IMHO that the aforementioned releases notwithstanding the great subject matter, are helping the cause. Luc
  21. Two kits I rather would not see offered to a novice builder, which despite the great box-art rather harm than promote the hobby. But that's just my opinion.
  22. Maybe ask here Untitled (dutchmodeltruck.com) Jim
  23. Anyone who wants one of those Chargers would be the customer who didn't see anything wrong with the original Pro-Modeler kit
  24. Can't remember the last time I bought on ebay, cuz shipping from the US to Europe has been going crazy, as are the import duties, which take all the fun out off it. Now I again hop at brick and mortar stores or at shows, but since Covit-19 BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH I haven't bought anything, just the opposite, gave 300 kits in consignment with a specialty dealer nearby.
