What are your Bucket List Kits?
Luc Janssens replied to Oldcarfan27's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
'68 Olds 442 ''69-70 Cadillac DeVille '69 Chevy Impala '72 Chevy Impala '72 Plymouth Roadrunner all come up on ebay from time to time, but can't bring myself paying top dollar for them, and it's not like I don't have model kits I can tinker with in the mean time.... -
1978 Dodge Power Wagon
Luc Janssens replied to Ironman63's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Modelhaus had such a bed, as well as another resin caster, but forgot the name, he is/was on ebay though. Decals are/were also available,... BTW FYI the Mpc kit to look out for is not the Lil' red truck but the Dodge Firefighter truck, the difference is not only the grille and hood but also the header panel (which is part of the cab) and....it has the 4x4 set-up. -

Same modus operandi as Revell Germany did with US merchandise, every quarter hobby shops here receive a listing of R-M product they can order. Oh well.

very nice! anyway, I've noticed Hasegawa released another variation of this kit, this time a 2000 tI, with hubcaps

now since they're one company, I wonder if availability in Europe will be improved, anyone in the know?

if it's part of the deal and they're willing to invest, to tool up a tire mold and one for glass too, it will happen, what's otherwise the point of having it, unless they needed a heavyweight doorstop

Fireball Modelworks is designing just that, check out his FB site for the 3D renderings....

Test Shots and Other Parts Oddities
Luc Janssens replied to Casey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Someday before I leave this blue rotating big ball, I'd like to have a full series of test shots(first shot up to approved for production shot) together with all the prints of the photo shoot and the 3D files. But the chances to that are slim, I'm guessing..... -

Strange that Revell didn't tool the grille separate from the loop bumper, would've made the detail painting a bit easier... Great build BTW

1/25 AMT '65 Chevy El Camino "Gear Hustler"
Luc Janssens replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
This tread made me dig out my BC version and mocked it up, question aren't these camper normally a bit wider, cuz I suspect the bunk is over the roof, no? -
Question on the roof of these van's, is it really smooth?

Just messin' with ya

Et tu, Brute?

Maybe Beemax, Belkits and Nunu are one and the same manufacturer and production facility. I remember that a rep from Belkits once said to me, that their vendor in the past also designed some rally kits for Hasegawa
