  1. if I heard right (with all the static surrounding me), the arm is almost 14 feet, thus if the base (turnpoint) in the middle, one can scan up to almost 28 feet.
  2. very interesting, and with the 4 meter (13 feet) arm they can scan a vehicle up to 8 meters (26 feet) Also that dulling the "to be scanned surface" is no longer required is a big plus, so no more vintage car owners backing off...due to messing with their shiny treasured possession.
  3. Didn't Tamiya have working suspension on their Toyota Landcruiser and Mitsubishi Montero kits?
  4. Those are the best, the ones that blindside you on a idle Tuesday... Unlike the BMW from Platz....
  5. Love it!
  6. Looks just fine! Looking forward seeing a lot more where that came from.
  7. Wish Round-2 would rerelease the N10, but this time with a plastic chassis and good chrome. IIRC this kit comes in both Euro as NA spec, and was designed by the late Dave Carlock.
  8. A couple of my friends build the wrecker version of this truck, not for the faint of heart, unless the tooling and assembly has been revised. IIRC the problem was that the parts breakdown was much like a resin kit
  9. Looks Great, Jonathan! BTW now that it's built, is the lack of interior detail of the door and 1/4 panel noticeable?
  10. Looks great so far....can't wait to see it finished.
  11. Looks Fantastic, it's one of those which I'd like to see returning from Round2, but as a restomod....not the car per say but tooling wise...by combining their 2000ish designed '71 Charger with copied body parts from the Mpc annual. Again most excellent work!
  12. Indeed, a tunnelback.
  13. I don't see them sinking money into the backdating of the Mpc kit, which IIRC was last seen as the Amt Heritage edition Camaro Z-28... when they have an '83 tool on the shelf
  14. I'd love to have a '64/65, since they were also used in the Monte Carlo rally, it fit's the Moebius concept/philosophy , but think the Trumpeter kits as bad as they are, also makes this a no go.
  15. Great kit, but if you build the kit, know that you'd have to scribe the fender to cowl panel line.
  16. Looks great, but think Foose should've left the headlamps stock, the frenched look is kinda sticking out too much, for my taste. Wonder what Gustavson from the custom clinic would say
  17. Calm before the storm?!
  18. Maybe they're trying to make a statement. Yeah...waiting to see the M6 too, dunno if I'm buying but it look promising...
  19. If history a short as it is, has taught us anything, then it is that Round-2 is just that Round-2, the chance to obtain again, a once produced model kit, but in a slightly better form. They're not in the business to modify, unless if it's returning a certain tool to a certain point in time by cloning/copying/ an vintage kit. The exception to the rule are the new Camaro kits, but it's a given that there are always exceptions... Does it bother me that they didn't pull forward with the Demon?...you betcha...but alas it is what it is...
  20. Wonder if they have a Toyota Land Cruiser (J40) on their short list.
  21. Wouldn't mind seeing this tool "accidentally" being dropped from a forklift, Ha....there I said it
  22. By that time, a car will no longer be a private owned vehicle, but a service you pay for, all self-driving electric blobs that will bring you from point A, to B, battery recharge could be a battery swap..... Think my generation (born in '68) will be the last who enjoyed (*) driving. (* On holidays, not for work, here in Flanders, congestion is daily routine with increasing crawling miles, year after year)
