  1. Great job, the only things I would've done different is dirtying the windshield showing the wiper marks and the backlite would be sugarlike christals on the packagetray.. But that's just nitpicking cuz the body weathering is outstanding!
  2. I agree, stunning absolutely stunning
  3. I'm not that knowledgeable on Chrysler products of that era, other that I like their styling, the same way the American public did, when these showed up in the showrooms at dealerships round the country. The question here is, when taking the skin off, how much is common and thus interchangeable between models, brands and from what production years, then with that in mind, what is possible with clever tool design (engine parts, chassis parts, interior parts, body and components and clear parts) for subjects for which there's a healthy demand. Maybe the knowledgeable Mopar fans here, can shed some light on this.... Hmm...this almost sounds like a $250k+ question
  4. Maybe, they're better off, making an all new one with a whole slew of siblings (to spread the investment and risk) they can use the Jo-Han promo kit in the design process, scanning it, checking the scale and enhance it with detail, and parts we'd expect in 21st century kit. Anyway this pure speculation on my part, but since one steps into a minefield, by just mentioning Jo-Han, an all new kit IMHO is the only way to go without having to worry about loosing your pants.....
  5. These are neat too... Lenses Reflector
  6. The European version of Jo-Han, with one slight difference, the tooling wasn't sold fro scrap, but kept.
  7. Think I built that one in the late 70s, was it motorized?
  8. Did you enlarge the headlamps, cuz they "seem" bigger then I remember from building the kit, back in the day...
  9. Just checked it, and to my surprise it's available in Europe as well, so ordered me a can, to try it out.
  10. While you're updating, don't forget to scribe the panel line between the fenders and cowl-panel.
  11. I've been playng ith the idea, of turning an Autocar into a mixer, for quite some time, just because the Autocar screams to be a though work truck, your version confirms just that; again great work!
  12. Did the inspiration come from this site? Great conversion BTW!!
  13. You're right, cuz there are also models of cars which were hot when new, but far too young for classic status, thus completely out of the picture...
  14. Think with reissues they have a pretty good idea what flies or not....they call it past sales data
  15. Unbelievable what comes out these days, subject matter which like a decade ago was tagged unsalable, great times we living it, modeling wise anyway Thanks for the heads up James!
  16. Indeed, the term they actually use is bagged shots, don't know if their reboxed in Germany or that they do it in Poland, where the production of regular Revell Germany kits take place....
  17. Think the engraving would be so fine, that it will be lost under the plating undercoat, if the market demands, a decal would be the way to go IMHO
  18. The idea isn't that far fetched, I remember when working at Opel's ITDC in Rüsselsheim in Gemany, seeing a Elky style pickup, based on the then current Opel Omega (Cadillac Catera), it was converted from a wagon....
  19. Wasn't that tool altered to eject a stocker?
  20. Ha, now that you show that, I do remember a Renault (think it was a R12) in the village where I grew up with the S&H paint scheme..
  21. The SVT has the grille part molded-in, a pain to paint IMHO.
