  1. Beauty conversion Glen ..really like the colours you chose...well done! Cheers
  2. Small block Chevy engines have been used in almost everything Hot Rod....reliability and easy parts swap maybe...? Chop looks great Scott
  3. I've been looking at this one on my stash shelf for several years, knowing it couldn't be built stock and look decent. The moulds are slushy and the trim detail and opening doors were wonky. Glued the doors shut, trimmed off the vent windows, ground off all the badges and trim, radiused the wheel openings Found some suitable shoes Going for something like this Will be using some of Bill Elliot's 9 decals Throw back to all the cars I watched race up at Merrittville Speedway back in the day Cheers
  4. In all seriousness (not really), what ARE the differences between a 30 and 32 Ford body...? I see the door bottom needs to be scribed above the 1/2 round detail, file off the flange on the front of the cowl, and take the visor off above the wind shield...but what else..? Enquiring minds want to know.....
  5. Oh I like that Shawn..very precise detailing and finish. I struggle with the black rubber bumper strips, how did you do yours ? Cheers
  6. Really nice paint and bmf work on all 3 Kari !! I have found that there is nothing you can put over Alclad and keep it chromey looking, but scale wise the bumpers look fine to me. Well done
  7. Nice work so far Mark Looks like the aluminium continues right up to the A pillars on the top edge of the door
  8. Almost there Nick, looking really good. I don't think I have completed one of these 1:12 Tamiya kits in less than 5 years....lol Once you get into all the details the time just slips away Cant wait to see it 'Under Glass' Cheers
  9. Right..? One, unfinished race in this car.. I saw the Tom Cotter video, and had the car in my stash..had to build it. Thanks again to @JollySipper and @Exotics_Builder for the help in gathering parts for this. Cheers
  10. It is under glass already Mark Thanks for checking in
  11. Well I tell ya Mark, it was the most frustrating 6 hours of foiling ever..lol. But I did get it to lay down eventually and then I just hit it with multiple coats of Clear...and as long as you don't touch it ...ever...it should be ok
  12. Very nice ..really like the outdoor shots Well done
  13. My printer ran out of ink,..so the license plates are just place holders right now.
  14. Truth...it looks like a Charger with 13 coats of paint on it...just sayin'
