  1. Thanks to all that dropped by and commented... I appreciate it. This was one of those models that came together fairly painlessly, I wish for more of those for us all! Cheers
  2. Congratulations Nie Perseverance pays off ?
  3. Yes, a full windshield came in the kit, and yes I believe it is the same kit ..but boxed by Revell of Germany
  4. Or when a formation of these fly over the 18th hole...like a group of german shepherds with wings...?
  5. Another Dax creation..Cool !
  6. Well that's one way... Interesting project Ken, I'll be following?
  7. Nice job altering those 4 lug Campagnolo's JC..why not use those ..?
  8. There is a belief that if a bird poops on you, your car or your property, you may receive good luck and riches. The more birds involved, the richer you'll be! So next time a bird poops on you, remember that it's a good thing. Turkish superstition says it's good luck to get pooped by a bird. Crazy Bird pooped on me. Is it lucky? Will I win the lottery?
  9. I just want to know how you got into my basement ...?...
  10. After spending too much time trying to find non existant new tires for this build, I decided to go ahead and use the kit wheels and tires,... I think they are just fine,...sometimes I sabatoge a build by searching (obsessively) for uneeded bits and bobs.... The wheels got stripped with Easy Off,..Alclad chrome for lexan, and hand painted Testors flat aluminum inners... The tires got Gofer decals 'Goodyear' decals and Testors Dullcote spray. Now on to those hinges... All Q,C+C's welcome Cheers
  11. Lucky#13 The Gumball Cobra made it back into the shop ... I decided to go with the kit supplied tires, with goodyear decals and dullcote, they look alright. I stripped the chrome from the wheels and alclad chromed them, and hand painted the inners with Testors flat aluminium. Next up hinging those little doors and the trunk... Good luck to all Cannonballers !!
  12. Love the record player...will it be the Who 'Who are you', Curtis Mayfield's 'Super Fly', or maybe Elvis' 1957 'Christmas album'....? Really liking this build Eric
  13. Man that looks good,..I'm interested in who made this as well. Keep it going Ralph !

  19. Nice work Kurt ! Looks like the lady needs some sun, after a long winter? I thought this was concourse finish,...bug splatters ..? Cheers
  20. Nice work on the corvette Bill,..I need to put my Cobra back on the bench !
  21. Thanks guys, I liked this build...and JC I still have that WR1 to build...haven't decided whether to build it as the Wolf, or maybe Desire Wilson's 1980 ride...
  22. So Teddy Yip buys a WR3 from Walter Wolf, and, in the 11th race of 1978, the German Grand Prix,..he puts Keke Rosberg behind the wheel... Keke manages a 10th place finish,.. This is a model of that car... The next race at Silverstone, he wins the 1978 BRDC International Trophy... in the pouring rain ! The kits comes with p/e parts, white metal parts, and decals for two different cars. The donor is the Tamiya Wolf WR1. I used Duplicolor primer and paints, with a couple coats of Alclad Aqua Gloss clear coat. I didn't add much, other than fuel lines, oil lines, and some electrics.. Cheers all
  23. I like the race shot ?
  24. Very nice work Charles. I like your structures and weathering , and the figures are really coming along nicely ! Well done, Cheers ?
  25. Keep up the good work Chris ! Extra detailing on the engine is looking good? Cheers
