  5. Adherence of paint is good, dries quickly(15 min to touch) That's the 1:25th Revell kit..I've cut the doors and trunk out As a clear, I will use Alclad Aqua Gloss (goes over anything)? They do take a bit more thinner to get through the brush, I also pump up the comp. to 25 - 30 psi. I hear you about panic it's all getting here pretty quick.. Take care of yourself
  6. Thanks for posting that last Mustang Richard.. I'll get some outdoor pics of this colour if the sun comes out again,...ever lol I mixed 2 parts Frost blue, with 1/2 part Sapphire, and mixed that 50/50 with thinner...for under $15.00 to Michael's
  7. Really well done... inspirational work for sure Steve ! I'll be looking for what's coming next, like Kevin says?
  8. This is really looking good Kurt ! I like the Alclad Aqua Gloss, it doesn't take the chrome finish away, and it isn't fragile to oils from your fingers. win win Cheers

  18. There is a belief that if a bird poops on you, your car or your property, you may receive good luck and riches. The more birds involved, the richer you'll be! So next time a bird poops on you, remember that it's a good thing. Turkish superstition says it's good luck to get pooped by a bird. Crazy Bird pooped on me. Is it lucky? Will I win the lottery?
  19. I just want to know how you got into my basement ...?...
  20. After spending too much time trying to find non existant new tires for this build, I decided to go ahead and use the kit wheels and tires,... I think they are just fine,...sometimes I sabatoge a build by searching (obsessively) for uneeded bits and bobs.... The wheels got stripped with Easy Off,..Alclad chrome for lexan, and hand painted Testors flat aluminum inners... The tires got Gofer decals 'Goodyear' decals and Testors Dullcote spray. Now on to those hinges... All Q,C+C's welcome Cheers
  21. Lucky#13 The Gumball Cobra made it back into the shop ... I decided to go with the kit supplied tires, with goodyear decals and dullcote, they look alright. I stripped the chrome from the wheels and alclad chromed them, and hand painted the inners with Testors flat aluminium. Next up hinging those little doors and the trunk... Good luck to all Cannonballers !!
  22. Love the record player...will it be the Who 'Who are you', Curtis Mayfield's 'Super Fly', or maybe Elvis' 1957 'Christmas album'....? Really liking this build Eric
  23. Man that looks good,..I'm interested in who made this as well. Keep it going Ralph !
