  1. Now that it’s being reissued…
  2. Excellent! This is exciting news. I’m very much looking forward to it. I’ve had an AAM crew cab dually in the stash for, well, let’s see…30 years, along with a 454 ss. This new release will most likely supply some (better) parts to complete it.
  3. Wonder if Texas 3d Customs would be willing to offer some grille options now that it’s being reissued?
  4. True. You’d really need the complete wheel set, not just the hubs. I’ve used the Auslowe caps to dress up the kit wheels and make the hubs look larger and more dome-like.
  5. M&R Wheels makes several styles of hubs in real aluminum, along with tons of different wheels in both 1/24 and 1/25 scales. On the pricey side, compared to Moebius and kit wheels, but far above in looks and quality. Here’s a link to the large 1/25 “dome” drive hubs: https://www.mandrwheels.com/hubs-drums-studs-tools#/truck-drive-axle-hub/ if you’re only in need of the caps themselves, Auslowe makes really nice metal ones in two sizes: https://www.auslowe.com.au/shop/category/hubcaps/390
  6. Such an impressive display. Ultra-realistic, especially with the lighting. Can’t help but think how fantastic it would be in 1/25 scale as a backdrop diorama for photos of big rig models. Of course, it would be huge, but incredibly useful for a display.
  7. Simply beautiful!
  8. Excellent video with the most intelligent perspective I’ve heard thus far. Thanks for sharing.
  9. This will be another great project for you.
  10. Forgot to mention how much I like the paint scheme. Beautiful! And those sleeper upgrades…both the exterior windows and the interior “addition”.
  11. Very cool. You don’t see a lot of expeditor builds on here, despite seeing them often on the road. Not common, though, is seeing one as classy as this truck.
  12. You’ve got some great outdoor shots, too. Nice angles making it a very realistic scene by combining the background with the base. Really cool when that works well.
  13. Wow, that’s a really pretty paint scheme.
  14. I like the bumper and visor upgrades on those 378s. I especially like the paint scheme on the blue and white one. Simple and classy.
  15. Love the old school headlights. Classy work, a great paint scheme.
  16. Well, that’s some impressive power under there, just try to keep it on the road with the shiny side up, and the greasy side down. Great build!
  17. That’s too bad. Sorry to see that. I hope it’s a clean break and you’re able to repair it ok.
  18. Nice! That’s a great-looking truck. I like the added details, especially those stack tips. Along with the sleeper, makes for a build that really stands out from the rest.
  19. Nice build, for sure. What blue is that? Looks exactly the part.
  20. Interesting. First time I’ve seen class 8 trucks in 1:18. Funny they mislabeled the listing as a W900, when it’s a Pete 359. But maybe the photos were swapped from another listing and they actually make a W9 as well. I agree, if they were in 1/25 or 1/24 I’d take a closer look. But, I also agree that it’s a different market, for the most part, being there are plastic kit builders and diecast collectors. Some do both, so there’s a little overlap. Myself, I have very few diecasts (outside of hot wheels), Maybe enough to count on one hand. The general stipulation being they must match the plastic kit scales, be of comparable detail, and usually be a subject not kitted. This eliminates most of them. Plus, I like building.
  21. Spectacular build! Truly impressive scratch building and detail. Great weathering. I’ve enjoyed watching it come together. Looks like it would stink up the room!
  22. Fantastic build! A 1:1 of that would be a whole lotta fun.
  23. I’m looking forward to it. It’s always a great show.
  24. Nice paint color, for sure. That era of the LTL 9000 has always been one of my favorite trucks.
