  1. you are correct; they should sold it as a 1974
  2. heat the spindle ends to a knob that holds
  3. Tim, you were correct. mostly tape graphics. Appears that circled bird on the nose is a tape not an embem. Old kit is wrong.
  4. The AMT 1959 Corvette is a 1960. The seat pattern up and down on the kit .It is an updated 1959 annual kit (engine). Only the hardtop version came with a claer top in 1960.
  5. The chimps were drunk in 1967 when AMT made this kit part of the trophy series.
  6. Modelhaus had the correct bezels but of course that is a moot point now.
  7. Better the emblems are gone if wrong
  8. You are correct that there were a lot of decals used but I believe "Road Runner" was a spelled out emblem on the right side of the trunk.
  9. I was lucky to find a rebuildable 1973 MPC roadrunner off eBay. I can use the 74 GTX kit for bumpers glass and some other items. I don't know if it is a licensing problem but the roadrunner emblems were smoothed off the new issues.
  10. I believe Round2 needs to cut a new body insert as it is now a 1973. I have both the ERTL and MPC 1971 Roadrunner. They are slightly different; like the 1972 GTO. A combo kit making a 1971/1972 Roadrunner or GTX might be a good seller. It's been a long dry spell for the 1972 Runner so the original suggestion is a great Idea. I would buy a few myself.
  11. There are no good trailers for these boat models. They are big boats that require tandem 4 wheel axle trailers.
  12. Looks like the Palmer/Lindberg 1959 Century Coronado. Which, incidently is back on the shelves now with a chrome windshield.
  13. Make a bubble using crystal clear

    50 Ford

I got that kit for Christmas 1963
  15. RCERTL was dark ages . I don't think they cared to make part parts correct.
  16. I am going to use these convertible parts to make a James '69 Cougar
  17. I have the 1974 GTX kit and it is horrible. one usable exhaust manifold. wrong exhaust.
  18. Is this Juha work? Wow, It is very nice.
  19. The headlights are too small now , but AMT ruined the proper sized headlights in 1967. It used to have big bezels like Revell and clear lenses.
  20. I don't recall a MPC Pacer wagon, just AMT. MPC had the coupe
  21. Terry Beautiful paint and assembly. I have an MPC 1971 Cuda. In the MPC the front bumper comes to a shallow point but the Revell Monogram seems flat? Why do the 2 kits seem different? Maybe the MPC is wrong? ANy thoughts on that by anybody?
  22. I have a big box of his GM door handles.
  23. Early Pinto kits too
  24. I think th Modelhaus number was T265. I bought a couple of sets from them. The whitewall insert likes to fall out. Those tires from Piranha and 60 Falcon are same as old AMT compact tires such as Corvair, early Mustang, Get Smart car and some others. Looks like Goodyear.
  25. It's the subject matter, though waiting for a Missing-Link 1973 Chevelle would be a wiser bet.
