  1. Cutting the ERTL 71 chassis to fit 74 interior
  2. Six Pack scoop on a flat hood. 1974 grille with bumperettes removed.
  3. I used the MPC Super charger kit with the ERTL 1971 Charger for Burn Notice. Took a lot of cutting and sanding didn't fit that well.
  4. I bought 5 S&H Torinos and would buy 5-10 1977 TBirds.
  5. Alan, you did a nice job. I watch Dr. Blake and check out the cars on the show. Last week was a 1956 Ford Ambulance.
  6. I need to make a 1939 coupe. My dad had 2 ; one in 39 and the other off the black market in 1946. Same price but the post war was beat.
  7. There's no money for a lawyer get, no deep pockets, so it's not worth their while to sue. Like trademarks, if you abandon them somebody else will use them. I understand the sentiments but practically speaking nothing will be done. Clearly the Holthaus family wants to quit. They would have to keep working at it to protect it; not in their plans
  8. Which explains why the 1939 wipers are on the top of the windshield.
  9. What about the AMT 1949/50 fords trim rings?
  10. Wow, I have never seen a hornet's nest modeled before!
  11. This kit is found 3 ways; GT, Cobra and Talledega All the grills are different. Not to mention fastback, convertible and formal hardtop
  12. What is this post about? I read the whole and still don't see the point, starting with Paul.
  13. Those that no longer want to produce. If Modelhaus does'nt make more and nobody buys and produces Modelhaus, how is it different than AMT, MPC or Johan copied by Modelhaus now?. Most of Modelhaus is copies albiet sometimes modified.
  14. When Modelhaus evaporates, they will by saying the same thing in 5 years.
  15. The big front bumpers were 5 mph in the front, 2 1/2 mph in the back for 1973. I like the 1971-72 the best.
  16. This is a great kit, better than the original 1969 amt El camino. I was surprised that the 1969 grill is too narrow to fit the 1968 body. Which means one is out of scale for 1/25.
  17. when you do your taxes in Massachusetts, you are supposed to pay sales tax for all out of state purchases as stated above. Computers ahve made it possible for the states to put all the pieces together.
  18. Rear wheel openings are not hogged out, otherwise I might chuck it
  19. when you do your taxes in Massachusetts, you are supposed to pay sales tax for all out of state purchases as stated above. Computers ahve made it possible for the states to put all the pieces together.
  20. Am I incorrect, but I thought the moulds are not part of the Modelhaus sale of business?
  21. These chrome bumpers are what you need to do a Boss 351
  22. I actually like this ERTL version of the 1969 Torino over the original AMT. The original uses the 1966 promo chassis, but ERtL used the modified stocker chassis with separate exhaust pipes and extensions. I need to build this kit someday too.
  23. Herbie had a reserve tank and no gas guage?
  24. The suspension is not chromed either
