  1. Depends on how much you paid for the kits. I guess if you paid too much you are going to lose no matter.

    '60 Vette

NIce build on what I remember as a difficult kit to build. To me, it seemed like the parts didn't fit well.
  3. Very nice work This kit based on the 1967and 1968 annual kit
  4. I had a real 1976 Mustang. It was not as bad as everybody says. Not just a Pinto at all. I built both the AMT and the MPC kits. I liked both but the MPC more detailed and more fragile.
  5. That looks like spray enamel, should almost fall off with oven cleaner. Be careful with the chrome
  6. How did you fix the tail lights?
  7. Here is the 1964 Cutlass funny car
  8. AMT used Craftsman kits as the tow cars
  9. Those Dodges are great.
  10. This boat is a Cris Craft Cutlass from about 1959
  11. I have one of these 1959 Rancheros too. I am curious what you used for glass interior and chassis,
  12. The kit is not that bad. When AMT released the annual kit in 1967 as a Trophy Series, they ruined the headlights. They removed the bezels and the appropriately sized clear lights. Whatever money they saved was not worth it.
  13. I always thought their was an arrangement or mole moving designs from AMT to MPC. AMT/MPC same truck 1967-1968. In 1969 the AMT was new tool with a big block motor instead of 327 small block. plus the hoods don't fit too well swapped. In 1971 AMT flipped over to GMC. That Sierra Grande became shortbed stepside T409 after MPC did longbed stepside . Stock release of any of these kits would be nice.
  14. I think I have an original 59 El Camino or at least parts. WHats missing fro the reissues exactly?
  15. The original or Foose is all wrong?
  16. I am surprised Revell didn't cannibalize those kits for replacement parts ( non body parts). Maybe insurance paid up?
  17. Any construction information on this beautiful build
  18. Wes Gallogly was a lawyer who owned AMT. He had buddies at Ford that got him business
  19. Again, like the wagons, if you are not going to sell us the kits what is the point of this post? My intent is to build it, not copy it.
  20. This is it. I am considering making a Marquis convertible
  21. This is Preiser for LGB 1/24 Others are 3 inch tall Spice girls
  22. They put the tires in separate bags now as are all the parts. I believe tire burn need heat like from the attic. All of the 60s kits that I bought in the 70s were fine until I built them and stored in the attic
  23. Let's assume Round2 will never produce a brand new kit. We know the AMT 1964 Cutlass convertible exists though altered wheelbase and windshield removed. Why not do that one as the 1964 4-4-2?
  24. Geno You did a great job! What prompted you into building the 1/24 Monogram instead of a 1/25 Lindberg?
