  1. I just bought some 63-68 BIscaynes from him. Vey nice.
  2. It does bite but I doubt you will be infected
  3. This kit is good to restore older MPC Chargers.
  4. Is this a Revell?
  5. 1970 is the Bunkie Bird (Bunkie Knudsen) aka Pontiac noses.
  6. I like the 1967-69 TBirds,not so much 1970/71.
  7. Everybody knows the shortcomings of Palmer kits, however, they are collectible now. I have 2 Impalas which I remember seeing at the stores back in 1964/65.
  8. AMT changed the headlights to simplify the kit.
  9. Missing Link has a nice 1971 grille to back date the 1973 MPC. Too bad AMT ruined the stock Mustang to make that racer.
  10. I have an acetate promo that was heavily spray painted and little warp. The air may be a problem. Sealing the surface with paint helps it seems A plastic called Cycolac was introduced in mid-1961. Half of the AMT promos warped like crazy, while others remained straight.
  11. My it problems were that I wanted a 74 interior not a 71 Then I had to fit the amt chassis to the MPC interior tub.
  12. Early 80s resin kits used polyester and were very brittle.
  13. I think you are correct. The ERTL body was a new tool. The clip for the rotating headlights was missing in the newer body.
  14. That silver used to peel off the real 2002s like crazy.
  15. AMT took the Cadillac name off the valve covers in the 70s
  16. Very nice work. I tried food coloring to tint with no success.
  17. MOC or ERTL also changed the head lights from the annuals,
  18. Why doesn't Revell do a OJ /Cowling version of a white Bronco. They would sell a ton with the right box art!
  19. Round 2 reissued the 2dr notchback not the fastback Starliner
  20. What year did you get it for $1?
  21. What core kit is used for the 66 impala wagon? Revell?
  22. $40 is sad considering all the tool front money was paid in 1975 and it is now being produced by 5 people who get paid $5 a day to make 35 pairs of blue jeans when they are not making models. I have been there; 40 cents for an imperial quart bottle of beer.
  23. So they got 6 months extra orders than retirement date? I guess some of this is speculators that hope to cash in when they become the only supply. I bought what I could afford for myself.
  24. Have they quit yet,May 2017? actually casting for orders.
  25. I am thinking the 1973 ELeanor. The best movie version.
