  2. I see the AMT '50 ford still has plastic ? axles. That's lame.
  3. Even Tamiya needs 40% humidity or less , automotive lower. Evaporation lowers the temperature and promotes water in the paint
  4. So which kit is better Revell or AMT. Also, AMT needs more work to be an accurate '39 despite what the sedan kit says.

  10. The 76 Torino is the epitome of boring 1970s cars. But he 1977-79 Tbird was incredibly successful. 1/25 sales mirror 1:1.
  11. Their 72 Chevelle has 70 side marker lights on the front fender; as it was on the 71 as well!

  14. The original Polyglass Gasser was the annual Bonneville. It seems like they will do the same as the Derby El Camino, put an ErtL '62 Pontiac Catalina in a reproduction Polygass Gasser box.
  15. It was common to use cross frames on convertibles because a lack of roof meant less rigidity. Hence, beef up the frame.
  16. I have been in a Chinese plant watching a younger guy text on his phone rather than work. For that reason , I can see why no-one noticed a mix-up.

  18. David,beautiful paint. I had the notchback Gran Torino Sport. 302 Windsor small block V8. Slowwwwwwwwwwww. 9-13 mpg. All the 72s ran horrible that I remember. Dad's Buick with the 455 4V was slow too. But this 72 Torino looked beautiful.

  20. The 1950 Ford was a Styline kit. The 1949 was a 3in1 with drag options. Some of these 1979-1982 issues have plastic axles that are NG.

  22. I was lucky to find one in a old 5&10 in Oldtown, ME back in 1973. Rare back then too. 70 of same kit not common either.

  24. The Palmer 1971 1/25 Challenger kit was good . Blatent copy of MPC.
  25. This Revell Nomad kit is horrible. I threw my kit in the trash back in the 1970s.
