  1. The last AMT '63 Impala with clear red taillights was the $3 drag kit with the '65 Chevelle. The Craftsman kit had clear red too. I believe AMT remove tail light inserts about 1975 when they made a special veterans kit with promo/open hood and poor engine. I have only seen a photo of it. So it was all done for ERTL in 1987 to reissue.
  2. For whatever it is worth, this kit good for windshield, exhaust, and hemi engine to restore old mpc chargers
  3. I buy crush proof boxes from Staples industrial. https://www.staples.com/10-L-x-5-W-x-5-H-Crushproof-Mailers-White-100-Bundle-62-100505/product_696447
  4. I got my 70 RR from SMH
  5. I bet 1969 modelers didn't really like them though it' a cool idea today
  6. I had a 68 chevy impala model kit from Canada in French
  7. Are you going to sell more castings of these Fords?
  8. Is a Pacer, cheaper is Ranger without chrome strip on front fender and door. Citation, Corsair, Pacer, Ranger.
  9. I bought a bunch of Dave's resin models. They are great. I have enough 64 Cutlass models but a 65 Cutlass would be great.
  10. It is fun building 39/40s. I am going to make a '39 by putting wipers over the windshield and modifying the dash. My dad had a 39 before WW2 but sold it in 1941, After the war, 1946, he bought a beat up 39 from the black market at the same price as he paid for a new one before the war. There were no new cars to get after the war except for crappy 30s cars.
  11. All of your comments good. I only built the Revell back in the late 80s early 90s
  12. This is the only good Palmer kit!
  13. Of the Tri 5 Revells, This is my favorite.
  14. AMT messed up the rear tips in 1965, never right.
  15. It took many tries for ERTL to get the 65 GTO right back to stock. The first one was bad.
  16. emblems were replaced with model car garage items
  17. Your best work so far, very nice.
  18. I carefully sand them smooth to replicate the real car.
  19. AMT ,Revell and MPC 70-72 Chevelles are a mixed bag . Each kit has it's strength. MPC has the best side shape. Revell has better interior. AMT better engine/chassis. In my opinion
  20. I think those bulges are shadow renderings by artists that AMT mistakingly thought was actually sheet metal
  21. What Pontiac body is in the box?
  22. I wonder how many bought on speculation to sell later?
  23. They still have orders to fill?
