  1. How about the Revell 1962 Newport, anybody like that one?
  2. Got my last order today; 1958 Continental kit.I can't complain because I got a lot of nice stuff from them. They made rebuilding built cars possible for years. I think I bought parts from them as far back as 1992.
  3. I agree, those spinners were very nice
  4. Good point Dave! To me I want to buya built model very cheap if it is missing bumpers. Now it is like the 1970s where you have to make parts . The parts guys on eBay will charge more now for spare chrome parts.
  5. This one has 2 Evinrude 75 hp outboards. No trailers though, 22 scale feet
  6. Kit will be different too. AMT eliminated the metal axle on the front wheels . so engine has no hole
  7. Did you save the convertible boot for another 64 Impala project?
  8. Interesting you say eBay, I'm sure Modelhaus items will go for a premium soon.
  9. The second issue was in 1969/70 with the All American Eagle on the box.
  10. I have lots of build photos. It might be easier to send them by Facebook as bandwidth is small here. Buddy L turned the station into a Buddy L gas generic station . Really ruined it too.
  11. The supercharger hits the hood, something I only discovered after completion. When you re-engineer a kit, it happens.
  12. Sold through Texaco dealers back in 1959- 1961. The show up on Ebay.
  13. The garage is a Buddy L Texaco station from 1960
  14. I took me 2 years but finally got it assembled today. 1958 annual Ford grafted onto the front of an original 1957 Revell Ranchero kit
  15. This model should be shown on the Revell box top
  16. I have seen1973 :1 cars with the 1971/2 decals on the side
  17. That why I keep old built kits to save those interior engine and chassis parts.
  18. You obviously started with the AMT kit. Where did you get the stsck interior on and engine probably chassis too?
  19. Palmer Scale models; SCALE-Irony when actual and literal definition are different. I thought Premier was precedent of Palmer
  20. I used an AMT Monza chassis under a MPC promo after I cut the hood open
  21. I never built the AMT version, just the Revell. Looks good
  22. The original SMP Impala detail doesn't cut the mustard with today's modeler's expectations.
  23. The Pinto 4 with a turbo was not a loser, it was pretty fast! Kits were about $300-600
  24. It's worth buying as the AMT can not be built stock. Missing Link sells the stock 1971-72 bumper and grill to back date it to a big block or BOSS
  25. I got the 4dr body an glass off ebay. and the hood pops out. the annual convertible kit finishes it
