  2. Nice work especially the interior details
  3. Thanks Jason ! I agree the wheels were too bright w the chrome spokes against the red
  4. Thanks Sam ! Been slowly puttering, decent weather lately had me tied dwn w outdoor projects. Yeah the gray won out , all the chrome was too much

  7. Very nice work Pat Always fascinating watching how multiple kits can be sourced to make one project possible
  8. Thanks everyone I appreciate your comments The gut is dry , now to detail it up . I'll post a few pics later Any opinions on the wheels ? I painted the spokes w a metallic gray, called model air exhaust manifold..or leave chrome ? I m not sure w the red which looks better
  9. Fantastic builds !!
  10. Thanks for hosting the BRBO Brian every build turned out fantastic and sad everyone didnt have time to finish, but life always gets in the way of hobbies
  11. Nice work on the axle spread , they look sooo much better narrow
  12. I had heard fantastic reviews about the kit. I decided I wanted a fast easy build , that wouldn't take all summer..and require an addition on the hobby room. Wow the reviews were right ! This truck flew together !! After only an hr I had a rolling chassis mocked up Early on I also decided the kit engine wouldn't be used , choosing instead a supercharged 5.0 Coyote from the mustang gt...now its looking right. jump ahead the next day and my artograph paint booth got called into service ( love this booth) Testors red lacquer w wet look clear poured on in light coats really makes the 70s era flake pop The cab right after clear, a very humid day, the milky appearance hadn't cleared yet. A few days later I mocked everything together for a test fit.. The color is actually darker in person , and will be buffed after a few more curing days Time to get the gut painted tan and detailed
  13. Awesome build Tom ! Very creative load too , definitely good way to save display space
  14. Haha I gotta say Kerry that bench looks like my dads work shop during his wood working projects! But ask him where a single thing is he'd reach down and grab it without even looking Me..I'm the other way , a Wip shelf keeps the projects together.
  15. Wow you've really built a stunner! I really like the unique builds everyone comes up with , shows how creative we can be !
  16. Awesome glad to help ! Hopefully Dave plans getting the RM back into production
  17. Dennis - closest I could find was the RM Dave sells at AITM, then modify the fenders appropriately. It's a killer style truck, perfect for heavy duty builds ! I'd be surprised if someone wasnt working on making the variant Hope this helps your search
  18. True craftsmanship! Good tip making your pulley sheeves too !
  19. So that's where all those huge logs come from watching Barnwood Builders when they tear down and restore old log cabins ! Some logs are over 24 inches wide a few episodes ago
  20. Thanks Tom ! They worked extra hard on this one..guess threatening to send them back to your house scared em enough..one mentioned you feeding em golf balls ??
  21. Awesome job ! You pulled off the color and stance perfectly
