  1. Great update ! When I built devils cut the tranny was really low in back too, but worked our perfect with the read diff allowing a very low stance your appears to be sitting perfect for ! Was your pete cab from the snap pete conventional? I've been planning another rat after watching this based loosely off cut worm specialty builds , just need the right cab and engine for the proper attitude
  2. Nice work so far ! The added bolt detail and gusset plates really make your attention to detail stand out keep up the great work
  3. Snag a screen shot of your desired oil filter decal, paste to MS paint..scale down , print on decal paper till you have enough for lifetime. Selling them.is a no no , using.for yourself is fine. Most pics of the decals are easy to find on interweb search that'll pass .I've used this method for several tough to find decals, granted the resolution from paint is not fantastic but will work
  4. Kfs used to make a resin Holmes 750 that's unfortunately out of production, but does occasionally pop up on ebay from time to time. That'd be perfect for the load star . There's been a bed on evil bay for awhile , but it would need serious attention to straighten the warps
  5. Very nice
  6. Very sharp car love the color
  7. Fantastic work so far , cool job of opening up the vents and offsetting the engine. That frame is awesome too
  8. Love that chassis setup! Going to be a great weed burner
  9. Looking.good from here ! Really like how you incorporated the bunk
  10. Awesome work! Your scratchbuilding is definitely up to par looking at the wrecker bed
  11. thank you ! That's one spot I always neglect on my rig builds . Who carries the glad hands if I may inquire
  12. Awesome update, the paint looks fantastic! ! What are you using for the airline connectors?
  13. Awesome work Tom with the build ..err instructions and that fantastic paint scheme ! Looks just like the real deal sitting on your hot tub cover
  14. told ya it was going to a good home !! Lol cant wait to see more , I'm off to get more popcorn
  15. Definitely a good choice ! And your using an autocar that's even better !
  16. Congrats on having dave cast this up, a real treasure for several modelers ! The details work is fantastic
  17. I had the same concern about using auto paint, the duplicolor alpine green lays down very smooth and doesn't bury the smaller details. A couple light coats will be plenty. I used tamiya fine white or gray primer under the 3 I've painted .
  18. Thanks !! Going OOB was so relaxing , compared to my usual re engineering made this sooo much fun ! Figuring out the paint was a cool technique I will certainly use in the future. I'll send this one over to the under glass forum once I can take better outside pics.
  19. awesome work Brian !! Ya can almost hear the engine idling from here
  20. nice work going on ! the big al engine is unbelievable, and your revised doghouse looks good !
