  1. Very nice!! The paint scheme looks very good and the trailer certainly ties everything together . The photo could easily be mistaken for the real deal
  2. GreatJob! Love the fans, a much needed detail that's been missing on these builds. It also looks like you've added valve stems to the rims..nice
  3. Thanks Terry! This is gonna make a Great addition to your fleet. The wrecker I was thinking of has Pendalls body works on the side, and is green /beige. The other mammoth truck I'd like to build is the American Towing one, where the wrecker section is much heavier duty. Keep up the awesome work and thanks again
  4. How much did you stretch your frame rails? After our new born daughter arrived my bench has been off limits, but now a month ...already yikes...I'm starting to make time . Thanks for any tips
  5. Terry great timing on you twin steer autocar, I've been collecting the parts for just a project, except it'll be the twin boom Holmes 750 wrecker!! I was planning using a pair of autocar front axles, and the heavier mack rears. Guess we can never have enough wheels !! Old Albion built one as a dump truck a few years ago..which helped inspire mine
  6. Great work thus far! Patiently waiting further uodates
  7. Amazing work going on here! Looks outstanding
  8. Very nice build, you've hit a homerun for sure! Like the scroll work and pinstripes
  9. Man, you've raised the bar with this one!!! Changing the wheels really made a huge difference on this kit!! Then you dropped on that quarry dump bed...wow..I'm speechless. Nice details on the wheels too, that combo really pops
  10. Thank you again everyone, I have noticed the prices are steep for these lately. I never thought to watch for rebuilders..seems a very good option. Luckily the truck I rode in hasn't been scrapped yet, but the owner said it's in sorry shape...guess the frame and cab have been rotted driving thru the harsh NY winters Does the kit allow for the day cab?
  11. X2 !! Thanks everyone for the feedback, and the pics were outstanding! I've been watching the auction sites for one, waiting patiently for a deal! Would love to see someone reissue this one
  12. I'm looking at building the above kit modeled after one my step dad drove for years. I haven't seen many builds of this particular model, and looking for opinions on its quality of build. Are they're any serious fit issues, or quirks that I should be aware of before jumping in? I remember riding shotgun a few times running salt from local mine to the pads, and a longer trip into Canada to a oil refinery for a load of HOT oil for the local paving company Thanks for anyone's input
  13. JT, lookin good so far! The Meng truck looks so much better as a dually, and Danny flares sure make it easy! Looking forward to your progress on the hauler
  14. Man, nice job so far! Love the color combo on this husky
  15. Awesome conversion Terry! Can't wait to see more
  16. Sorry I couldn't attend this year, prepping for our first baby!! Thanks Justin and crew for putting on another great event, the pics look fantastic as usual.
  17. Just my 2 cents, but I'd take the front bumper and lightly scuff it with 0000 steel wool. A very light touch will create a worn bumper, fitting of a working truck. This will dull the chrome , but leave a satisfying appearance.
  18. Excellent work on the building of the wing plow! Keep up the fantastic work
  19. It just keeps getting better! ! Awesome work
