  8. My fingers hurt just counting all those rivets !! Exceptional work detailing the frame rails , and cool trick w the compass face ..now the operator will always know which direction their facing lol
  9. This will be fun to watch develop ! Your aware Jamie from moluminum casts this unit now after KFS sold it . You'd just need a suitable wrecker bed for the hoist
  10. Awesome good to have ya along again Tom ! I'm certain you'll find something to build from the stash
  11. Gorgeous work , you certainly captured the truck perfectly!!! Another fantastic Brockway for your collection
  12. I also wanted to update everyone participating in the 2021 BRBO that Gary Wallace of gwtrucks is sponsoring our event with a 25.00 shop credit to the peoples choice winner ! A special thanks to Gary for his gracious contribution to our event!
  13. Watching all these fantastic builds getting posted , and the excitement of the 2021 brbo start date getting close , I figured I d post my project too. I'm planning a tribute build to the retired fleet of Brockway 361s of Barney Dickenson. This is actually the 2nd BD mixer ive built of their fleet,, the first one belongs to the owners now. These trucks were hugely popular driving around the Southern Tier. Recently they started to clear out the retired trucks and scrap them out . Thankfully a few trucks are being saved , and mine will be a small tribute for my Husky collection. See ya very soon !
  14. Looks like a fantastic project Dan ! There's so many VN 780s on the road , hardly a day passes without spotting one !
  15. Gorgeous interior
  16. Cable car for a load , that sounds interesting ! This is really shaping up
  17. Very nice! Love these tandem steering trucks
  18. Lol thanks ! Didn't really want the squirrels help anyway I keep stepping on the shells Santa has his hands full w our daughters request anyway..she would like a dinosaur..and not that talking purple one Haha ! I'm actually surprised they didn't send it out to help . Road crews south of me were getting their plows buried after snowfall levels topped 40 inches ..unheard of in this area . Thanks ! I hopefully will have a few days off after holidays to work on it steady
  19. Looks awesome Dan ! Using the window tint should work fine , I've done it in the past and it turned out good Like the choice of white too, seems to show the body lines on the p wagon
  20. So far the squirrels have assembled quite a few parts ..but still a ways to finish up. Last night I started the impeller drive motor , after mocking up the mounting plate . Here's all the parts the furry buggers stashed around the bench..The discharge chutes still need clean up The blower lift assembly parts made from several different bits then sanded into shape Lastly the motor mounting plate ready to accept the drive motor once its fabricated. Heres the real one for an idea of whats ahead... I asked Santa for some help..even the squirrels laughed ..guess I'm going solo ! Jeff
  21. Hahaha ! She's very willing to leave space for my favorite trucks , I picked up a display cabinet from a co-worker and its sitting prominent in living room. She just rolls her eyes when I'm chatting about the next build ...knowing the squirrels are back
  22. Sam - Gary doesn't have a website, ya gotta email him for info. gwtrucks@yahoo.com
  23. Ohhhh good luck ! My wife is also a book reader and would kill me for moving them !
  24. Glad to help ya out ! They really make for a fantastic trailer when finished . I always thought about doing another one weathered heavily , but space is a premium lol
