  1. thanks guys I was really shocked to win anything really, I was floored. now on to today's progress, number 5 is foiled, gotta do the headliner in white, then after that it should go together fast. might have this one done this weekend with some luck. thanks for following along............
  2. looking good. beware, the decals are tough on this one, the hood mostly. I had issues on all 6 of mine even with using micro-sol, as they don't conform to the curves and peaks in the hood. also, on the very front one, put the hood on, then put the decal on, after it dries, cut the decal where the hood meets the front end of the car. this will make more sense when you actually do it. hope this helps some, and keep going, looks great.
  3. ya, dust is the enemy after the build. so far the display cases I have are keeping the dust bunnies at bay
  4. saw this today in person, get out the model cash boys, cause this trailer looks awesome! many possibilities for this one! KJ, again, let me know when the first batch is ready for sale, I must have at least one of these.
  5. you boys are gonna want to save some money for KJ's trailer, wow is it sweet! saw it in person today, love it, just an awesome trailer, I think he's gonna have his hands full trying to keep up with demand once this hits the public! I picked up some wheels/tires from him today at the Spring Thaw show, they are superb looking units, if you're thinking of using his products, but are undecided, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
  6. yes, weather 'locally' wasn't bad. was a great time, and was good to see a bunch of people again, and the models were fantastic! Bill, sucks the weather out your way was bad, I really wanted to see your recent builds in person. KJ, been dreaming about that trailer since I left the show......lol.
  7. oh man! I still need one of those for the 'collection'. glad you scored one
  8. well, I dug this out of the display case and took it to the Spring Thaw show in Utica today, got a third place with it, I was quite surprised
  9. awesome Joe! she's really shaping up nicely. as I said before, i'm going to be a little sad to see this done, the ride so far has been great!
  10. no progress pic's today, spent the day at the Spring Thaw show in Utica today, but, I was lucky enough to snag this now, I had taken all 4 of these builds, but didn't pay close attention to the sheets I filled out as to what car had what entry number, but near as I can figure due to the order I filled out the sheets, this was the winner hope to make progress on number 5 this week, stay tuned...........
  11. you're outta control! wow that looks great!!!!

  15. thanks guys Dave, that is the plan, once the cars are done, work on the titan 90 and car hauler will begin........... thanks for looking in, stay tuned........
  16. heck, they topped the most stolen car in the US for quite some time, lol. having had a couple of these in 1:1, i'd like to build a few....
  17. can't wait! got 6 cars and two rigs/trailers ready to go. I don't think we are gonna see the thaw like we did last year though looks like snow is in the air....
  18. hey guys, going to the show tomorrow, so if you see these, look for me hope to see some of you there!
  19. wow, I am really liking the way you're doing this, top looks cool!
  20. Joe, four months already? geeze, I built 4 in that time, hahahaha. just kiddin man, amazing how time goes by isn't it?
  21. interior is breath taking, excellent work! I too will echo the comments on Norms door handles, incredible parts, details in them are unreal for such small parts. in my opinion, the best part is the little 'stubs' on the back of them, drill a small hole, push them thru, glue from the back, awesome parts, buy with confidence.
