  1. Thanks, the flame decals are from the revell California wheels 66 Chevy elcamino kit.
  2. I guess the only thing I do a lot of other than model building/collecting is playing golf. Crazy game, but one good shot makes the day, lol. I seem to build all winter, and golf all summer.
  3. Don’t forget the 1/16 revell swamp monster/ giant trax kits
  4. Straight up box art build on this one. Not sure if this will get a trailer or not.
  5. Very nice ! At this speed, you should be done in two weeks?
  6. Looks great, I like your back ground as well.
  7. My goodness that’s pretty!
  8. Beautiful builds! Is it a trick of the lighting, or am I seeing door edge guards ?
  9. I hear ya, I like to do pics on my hot tub cover, I get the angle just right and it looks like a parking lot, but it’s been way too cold or raining/snowing as of late to get good outdoor pics.
  10. Looking forward to seeing this, really interested in seeing the tanker built up, would like to get one, but not sure how it looks built.
  11. Posting this now so I don’t forget, here is the kit,
  12. Better stop there, we gotta wait until feb 1st, lol.
  13. Wing it....., you’re talking my language, haha.?
  14. Ya, I know this is an old topic, but didn’t want to start a new one either, so ran with this? Was just curious what people were doing to clean these stands, thanks for the input fellas?
  15. I myself don’t see it as an issue, nor do I think anyone else will, I think we are all on the same page, it’s fun and we get a little online comarraderie (sp? glad auto correct doesn’t work when you really need it, lol) from being in the build off. I’m more concerned with some of us finishing....., that’s more for making fun of myself, as I get distracted easily....... pretty sure jeff ( gotnitro) will see something shiny and be off on a tangent, lol......, just kidding buddy?
  16. So, anymore info on this topic? I have four of these stands, the bigger ones are severely covered with paint, no big deal really untill the holes for the clips and the round holes get plugged with paint, the ones that hold the bodies have a huge build up on the ‘wires’, and paint ‘powder’ on the bases. So, are you guys putting yours in the ‘pond’, or just letting it build up out of control? Lol.
  17. If you can find it, frog tape for delicate surfaces ( yellow tape/ yellow container) works very well, it reminds me of tamiya tape, just wider.
  18. That came out great! Would love an outside pic so we can really see that paint combo pop.
  19. This is a must read for everyone every now and again , great stuff, learned some new tricks. Thanks for such a great job Bill!
  20. I’d do a two tone gray interior, medium/dark combo.
  21. I’ve used quite a few of them, love them, and as mentioned they work good for interiors without clear coat.
  22. Big thumbs up! Glad to hear progress is on going, have faith my friends.
  23. I’ve used 3M spray glue , then sprinkle the flock on. Depending on color, I may paint close to same color on surface before hand.
  24. Oh, I am so looking forward to seeing how these last two posts of builds turn out! Great stuff guys!
  25. Love this build! Well done!
