  1. Awesome work!
  2. Thanks Mike.
  3. I just hope you guys aren't just running it down the sink when you're done. I really don't see the issue with IPA myself. To dispose of it I just let it evaporate.
  4. Beautiful!
  5. I've never used it but I looked at a couple of YT vids & they had good comments about the resin. You didn't specify which resin it is. I looked at std, so if you got ABS-like I didn't look into any. As for your settings, there could be an issue with the elasticity of the fep as you say its new. Its supposed to have some "give", but if your other resin worked it shouldn't be that. If you didn't use another resin with the new fep I'd start there.
  6. Just want to post my latest design & print. I was looking at my kits and thinking about future builds and I saw my 78 Nova kit I bought to make the 4 door resin build. Well the guy that makes them stopped casting them so I'm going another route. I'm going to make a restocustom Nova SS. I designed the grille to make the headlights round, added a honeycomb grille, and a narrowed and tucked in bumper. I also added a chin spoiler to match a 1:1 I'd seen online. I'll get to it some day. 😆
  7. I have the 53 Corvette 6.
  8. Thanks guys!
  9. Welcome to the fray Wayne!
  10. The body on this is a 3D print file that was available for free. Its a little thick but not bad. The engine is parts box, the chassis is from the Mooneyes dragster with the rear axle moved back. I designed and printed the headers, barn door injector, scoop, fuel pump, and moon tank, The wheels are printed but the tires are parts box. The cowl is from a Jimmy Flintstone set. Thanks for looking.
  11. Sweet!
  12. Beautiful build!
  13. Awesome project!
  14. I had planned on getting an early start to my entry for this year but my basement is unusually cold during this year. I did get the body stripped, however. I've decided not to paint it blue, though. I've had bad results with two builds in blue so I'll change it up. I know its me but, you know. I might have to go back to when I didn't have a workshop and work in the dining room.
  15. This may or may not help, but I was just looking for some wheels on the 3D print site Cults3D and saw these (which I'd never seen before your post). If they fit your specs you may be able to find someone to print them. They'd have to scale them up as the file is for 1/64, but that shouldn't be a problem. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/ruedas-argentinas-60s-argentine-race-wheels Scroll down the page to see the good info. Good luck.
  16. Awesome, just awesome!
  17. Made my own a couple of years ago. Might still get this one and do the decals.
  18. I don't, but my brother is mad into off roading. I painted this a while back for him. For those that don't know, they're clear and you paint them from the inside. There is a clear film on the outside that needed to be removed.
