  1. Nice!
  2. My personal process of elimination. #1 is well done. Lots of detail work most people won't see. I love it. #2 is nice but nothing that catches my eye #3 is very nice but the trim paint isn't smooth and doesn't accent well. Nitpicking yes. #4 is really cool, love the little extras, but my eyes keep focusing on the front tires with flash, and the one coming off the wheel. #5 is my pick for best build. Its well put together. The aluminum looks realistic, and there are nice extras. The glass looks clean & clear. Just a nice build.
  3. Social media definitely aggravates the situation. It allows people outside of the group that may have planned the event to invite fringe individuals to mass gatherings for hooning and general mayhem. The nearby large city where I live had people from out of town post that there will be a hooning. It went viral and streets & highways were blocked off. In the end, people wound up going to prison for dumb stuff. Kids now have criminal records, wrecked cars (or their parents), and intensified law enforcement. Dunno where this will eventually end up, but I fear it will result in gov't knee-jerking.
  4. Beautifully done!
  5. What slicer are you using, and how are you positioning it? Post a pic of it in your slicer w/supports.
  6. I did an image search of your wheels, though it returned aluminum results I saw that many of the wheels displayed showed the circular area around the lug nuts were darker than the surrounding wheel.
  7. Awesome stuff!
  8. Welcome to the fray Rudolph!
  9. Welcome to the forum!
  10. Wanna race! I had to do a bit of cleaning to be able to take this pic. I can't even say how long I've had it, but I love the way it sounds.
  11. Very cool!
  12. Bought the 99 S-10 Extreme kit. Looks good at first glance. I'm glad the side skirts are separate, I'm building mine for my brother with a 98 so I'll be doing away with those. As a result, I'll have to design & print a new rear bumper. I may keep the front bumper with spoiler though. That would be more surgery that I'm comfortable with.
  13. I saw that on the "just in" list and thought about it. Nice!
  14. Add to all that, I just read an article where a woman was told by her PCP that her EKG showed she'd had a heart attack and that she should schedule an appointment with a cardiologist. After the cardio looked at the result himself he told her she was fine, and that her PCP took the word of the AI w/o even looking at her EKG. Worse yet, here in Ohio we are part of a test program to use AI to screen people on regular Medicare to determine unnecessary procedures. How's that?
  15. The woman used AI for that vid and you can see the flaws, too. Her eyes randomly glance about at inappropriate times. Her mouth goes into odd shapes at times. Still, a very good copy of herself. There is an AI bubble coming. Both in terms of business impact, and the stock market. Right now the promise AI productivity gains is fueling investment in AI tech, which is keeping the stock market high while the broader economy suffers. If investors "get the memo" and realize that they won't get the returns they expect, they'll start putting their money elsewhere, and the market won't handle it well IMHO.
  16. My daughter used to do transcriptions up until last month when the industry dried up. Almost everyone is using AI transcriptions, with zero human checks. She's now doing AI follow-up in a different field and making more money.
  17. Very nice! I recently pulled my old 69 Camaro from the shelf for a redo because its falling apart. You give me some nice ideas!
