  1. Nicely done!
  2. Thanks Larry.
  3. Nice fabrication work! I'm an engine man so that is right down my alley!
  4. There seems to be no way to keep folks from voting multiple times tho. I didn't actually vote a second time but it let me back in.
  5. Awesome work! Fantastic detail!
  6. Thanks Bob, I like them too. Its just another flavor for the kitchen I say.
  7. Thanks Jim, sorry for assuming everyone referred to diecast metal cars as DC. It was a 67 Mustang at Hobby Lobby that I copped at the 40% discount (as shown in the pic). You actually get two sets, one with a black center, and one set chrome, but be advised that they are very wide. In fact I cut the front rim down and replaced the tire with a set I printed. To fit them under the rear I had to cut out the rear seat, and modify another chassis to fit them under it.
  8. Thanks, I had a pic of a 70 model with similar colors and I had to copy it.
  9. Thanks Steve. That's a resin hood from Lex on eBay. It was a little warped and wouldn't sit fully straight so I added four rare earth magnets to each corner and to the body so it sits a bit better. You can see the rear ones on the engine pic.
  10. I put a new Hemi in it and did a lot of the typical restomod changes. I know some of you don't like the low profile tires so please lets not rehash that. With that said they came from a DC.
  11. Nicely done! I did the long box before the reissue too but made it day 2. I like your weathering though.
  12. Light mist Alclad chrome over black until you get the look you want, then seal it with a water-based clear.
  13. Looks like a nice project!
  14. Sweet build and excellent photography!
  15. Sweet!
  16. Beautifully done!
  17. Sweet build and great dio ideas. I've got a 911 I plan to make into a rally car and this gives food for thought. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Interesting idea. I'm currently building an early rear engine dragster mostly from spare parts but I printed the cockpit & frame.
  19. Nicely done!
  20. Nice!
  21. My issue with the Hot Wheels theme is that that it goes against the theme of the race. They typically are over the top customs designed to be "out there", and grab attention. You'll get stopped every five miles by the troopers just for visibility. I think the Hot Wheels theme should be a build-off of its own.
