  1. I'm entering a Karmann Ghia, built using the Tamiya 1966 Beetle kit. I had to wait until I got a successful print, and then had to see if it was usable, as I've never printed a model body before. At first I printed the whole body but broke it trying to remove the supports. Then I cut the file in half in Meshmixer and printed it in halves and then glued them together. It came out smoother because I used a smaller nozzle and better quality settings. I wound up making it a convertible when I realized I didn't have a rear glass. I cut the windshield from one I had in the parts box. My entry in the last P2P was a convertible too. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment!
  2. Very nice!
  3. Welcome Matthew!
  4. Very well done! The paint color is very suited to the theme, and the detail is awesome.

  6. Thanks for doing this again Pete!
  7. Nice build!
  8. Sweet!
  9. Very nicely done! Fantastic interior detailing and body paint.
  10. I agree with wanting something different, that's why for the CBR I'm building the Club DeMer. I also have too many irons in the fire but having a year for both gives me hope. G'luck!
  11. Very well done! One of my faves.
  12. Cool. I've got a different printed KG I planto use for the Peking to Paris buildoff if I can get a good print.
  13. I agree. That was a goofy way to "assign" a winner. But that's F1 isn't it.
  14. Works for me! I actually briefly owned one of those vans. Hidden issues made me take it back.
  15. Very nice!
  16. Yes, that's an issue with pretty much all of the modern trannys, they are bigger than the older ones. I've done my share of cutting tranny tunnels.
  17. I'm in with the 1956 Club DeMer concept car. Its a curbside so there will be a lot of fabricating involved. For those unfamiliar, see the second pic.
  18. Beautiful build!
  19. Very nice lineup!
  20. Beautiful!
