  1. Very well done! I agree, looks like the real deal.
  2. Nicely done!
  3. Very nice!
  4. I'll miss your stuff Manny but totally understand. I retired in 2018.
  5. Thanks All! Paul, my original plan was to create a curbie art deco styled motorcycle or motorbike on a trailer but that kinda fell thru. I don't think so now as I'd have to add a hitch to it and I'm kinda clumsy so I'd be afraid to make a mess of things.

    Nicely done! Well detailed.
  7. Nice pairing!
  8. Good answers. I've done it as well but a lot of folks on FB are stuck on the "never use lacquer over enamel" claim without ever really checking it out for themselves.
  9. Its a nice kit. I did mine last year and it was a joy to build.
  10. Nice build! Glad you got your windshield replacement.
  11. Awesome build! Truly stunning craftsmanship and detail.
  12. I realized that I hadn't posted this as I finished it amidst my hiatus. The body is Jimmy Flintstone with a Iceman chassis with a Ross Gibson semi-hemi converted to a street engine. I photo etched the badges and visor but pretty much everything else is fabricated or bits from other kits, oh except the air ride equipment which was Iceman as well. The theme was art deco in keeping with the original truck body influence.
  13. The 53 Ford pickup has a flathead in it, and if you are near a Hobby Lobby you can wait until next week and get it at 40% off.
  14. Awesome job!
  15. Well done!
  16. With such great builds coming out of this year's contest I haven't been in much of a hurry to get mine out. Here is a long overdue update. Still some body fit issues to handle because the C7R body was so much wider than the C7. I trimmed the roll cage quite a bit to make it more street-worthy. Lots of bodywork left to do. The color will be satin black with some violet accents
  17. Excellent work! Thanks for providing such detail.
