  1. I had planned on getting an early start to my entry for this year but my basement is unusually cold during this year. I did get the body stripped, however. I've decided not to paint it blue, though. I've had bad results with two builds in blue so I'll change it up. I know its me but, you know. I might have to go back to when I didn't have a workshop and work in the dining room.
  2. This may or may not help, but I was just looking for some wheels on the 3D print site Cults3D and saw these (which I'd never seen before your post). If they fit your specs you may be able to find someone to print them. They'd have to scale them up as the file is for 1/64, but that shouldn't be a problem. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/ruedas-argentinas-60s-argentine-race-wheels Scroll down the page to see the good info. Good luck.
  3. Awesome, just awesome!
  4. Made my own a couple of years ago. Might still get this one and do the decals.
  5. I don't, but my brother is mad into off roading. I painted this a while back for him. For those that don't know, they're clear and you paint them from the inside. There is a clear film on the outside that needed to be removed.

  7. Very ambitious Andy, but great ideas!
  8. Awesome project and fab work!
  9. Welcome Chris!
  10. That's wild!
  11. Welcome to the funhouse Vince!
  12. Very innovative. I know we can't see the issues, but it came out quite well to me. Looks like something Ekstensive would come up with.
  13. I drove a Pettibone Cary Lift in another life. It was a heavy duty forklift designed to lift lumber, utility poles, large pipes, etc. and it had four wheel steering. It was fun to do crab walking with, and the turning radius for the size of it was phenomenal. Btw, the 2024 e-Silverado was supposed to have it. https://www.gm-trucks.com/electric-chevy-silverado-four-wheel-steering/
  14. I didn't do a full step by step but here's what I posted to my Fotki. As you'll see, the only issue was the trunk where I didn't allow for paint thickness. The decals were from Spot Model. https://public.fotki.com/Urban-Poet/denin-alpine-model/
  15. Nice!

    Awesome work!
  17. That's a great kit by the way. I built mine rally style a few years ago. Not the MC edition tho.
  18. Here's my official entry. 1975 Monza 2+2 I started for the 2023 CBR but ran into probs. Its a started build but I still have a long way to go. The paint was rough so I tried to smooth it and wound up sanding a lot of it off. I swapped the V8 for a Cosworth Vega engine. I had added a serpentine belt assembly and a turbo but serpentine belts weren't around in 1975 so I'm going back to the stock belt setup and dropping the turbo for dual Webers because I have ITB injectors on the turbo setup. The wheels and tires are set but I'm thinking about going traditional with the gold centers and chrome rims. I did very little on the interior except open up the side panels to fit the larger wheel wells, and cut out the tranny tunnel which now probably wasn't necessary because I'm not using a modern tranny. Oh yeah, the hood isn't shown because I have it in the purple pond because I had a turbo hump on it and need to replace it with one from the period.
  19. Well done!!
